Chapter 247 Lily

Chapter 247 Lily

Just as Sean was preparing to teach Luna how to feel the emotions of the characters she was writing about, the Lovegoods, who had been away for a long time, returned home, and his teaching plan was declared bankrupt due to this unavoidable factor.

This is Luna's fifth day with Sean.

During those five days, the inexplicable feelings between the two of them quickly intensified.

If I had to find a metaphor to describe this feeling...

Like flowers quietly blooming in spring, they unknowingly release their fragrance.

However, there are many ways to define feelings.

This includes family affection, friendship, and romantic love.

Perhaps the feelings between the two people are somewhere in between?

Neither of them could explain it clearly.

On the seventh day, Sean returned to St. Goman's Hospital.

To be honest, the lack of magic power these past few days has caused him a lot of trouble.

For example, spells can make things much easier when doing certain things.

Oh, don't get the wrong idea.

Sean was talking about...washing the dishes.

As Sean stepped into the familiar yet somewhat deserted lobby of St. Mungo's Hospital, a strange ripple of emotion stirred within him.

For some reason, the atmosphere in the hospital today was completely different from usual. The crowds were huge and bustling, more than twice as many as last week.

Patients, medical staff, visitors—all sorts of people mingled together, making the originally wide corridor feel incredibly crowded.

Even when he tried to squeeze into the cramped elevator, he experienced unprecedented difficulty.

Normally, this elevator, though not spacious, is at least big enough for people to squeeze in, but today it was packed with people, each eager to reach their destination, their faces filled with anxiety and anticipation.

Sean was pushed forward by the crowd and was almost squeezed into the already overloaded elevator, where people were pressed tightly together.

But when he squeezed into the elevator, he found that the white-haired loli was standing in front of him.

This was the first time he had gotten up close to examine this white-haired loli.

She had long, pure white hair, skin as smooth as cream, and delicate, exquisite features, like a work of art.

She was wearing a loose white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, revealing her two slender forearms.

She wore a knee-length blue plaid skirt that accentuated her petite figure.

A pair of white stockings encased her long, slender legs, and she wore a pair of black leather shoes.

He exuded a clean and pure aura.

She's called a loli, but she's really just a baby face with a petite and slender figure. If you look closely, you can still vaguely tell her age.

As the last person entered, the elevator doors finally closed slowly with a loud "bang".

Then, the elevator began to slowly rise. In this narrow, enclosed space, everyone's breathing and heartbeat could be clearly heard.

Sean sensed a fragrance that was both strange and familiar wafting through the air, causing his heart to beat faster involuntarily.

Suddenly, something hit his chest—it was the white-haired loli who had lost her balance due to the shaking of the elevator.

They inevitably came close together, and Sean felt her soft skin against his body; her body temperature and fragrance were intoxicating.

"Oh, I'm so sorry... I was so careless," she said apologetically, quickly bracing herself against the wall to maintain her balance.

"It's alright," Sean said gently, adjusting his posture.

But he couldn't ignore the intimacy of her leaning against him, and the tingling sensation of her breath brushing against his neck.

In that instant, Sean realized that he might have fallen into an ambiguous situation.

As the elevator ascended, the bodies of the people around them swayed slightly, and every now and then, the little girl would accidentally touch Sean's body.

This intimate contact made him feel somewhat aroused, especially as the scent and warmth of the white-haired loli constantly assaulted his sensitive nerves.

When we finally reached the third floor, the number of people gradually decreased.

"Excuse me... which floor are you going to?" she asked, her voice deep and sexy.

"Fifth floor, thank you," Sean replied politely, trying to suppress his inner turmoil.

"Me too." She smiled, a smile as beautiful and radiant as a newly blossoming flower. "It's so nice to go up with you."

After a brief pause, the elevator finally reached the fifth floor, and the two of them practically couldn't wait to get out when the doors opened.

The corridor was empty, with only a few patients or nurses passing by occasionally. Sean deliberately slowed his pace, keeping a certain distance from the white-haired loli, but not completely out of sight.

Finally, Sean saw the white-haired little girl walk into the same clinic as before.

A moment later, he went in as well.

Inside the clinic, the light was soft, and a faint scent of magic potions filled the air, mingling with the perfume on the white-haired loli's body to create a strange atmosphere.

The doctor from last time hadn't arrived yet, and with only the two of them in the room, the atmosphere was somewhat awkward.

"It seems we really are destined to meet again here," she said with a smile, her bright eyes seemingly able to see into people's hearts, making Sean feel a strange sense of unease.

"Yes, it is quite a coincidence," Sean replied, trying to make his voice sound natural, but his heart couldn't help but stir.

He found a seat and sat down, unconsciously glancing warily at her again.

The white-haired loli seemed to notice his little movements and slowly walked to his side, bringing the two of them closer together once again.

"My name is Lily, and what's yours? It seems like we've never had a chance to formally introduce ourselves." She extended her hand, her slender fingers appearing exceptionally white in the sunlight.

Sean paused for a moment, then extended his hand and gently shook hers. "My name is Hack. It's nice to meet you, Lily."

Their hands touched briefly before separating.

Just as they were about to continue their conversation, a door was pushed open and someone entered.

The two of them looked at the doctor at the same time.

"Hello, you two."

The doctor smiled, his gaze shifting between them, seemingly unsurprised by the scene. "It seems you already know each other. That's perfect, saves me the trouble of introducing you."

Lily smiled slightly awkwardly, withdrew her hand that was still hanging in mid-air, and said softly, "Yes, Doctor, we were just about to have a talk."

Sean nodded politely, though he felt a little disappointed by the unexpected interruption. He remained courteous and said, "Hello, doctor. We were just about to get to know each other when you showed up."

The doctor nodded, gesturing for them to sit down. "Miss Lily, Mr. Hack, you've both come here because of some unusual health issues you've recently experienced. I'm sure you both have many questions."

She paused, then continued, "I will do everything I can to help you, but first, we need to be open and honest with each other."

Lily, would you like to share something first? Have you experienced any changes in your body or any other symptoms these past few days?

Lily glanced at Sean, then turned to the doctor, gently biting her lower lip. She said somewhat dejectedly, "Okay, doctor... I haven't changed at all this week."

"Lily, don't be so sad. Even if there aren't any obvious changes now, it doesn't mean there won't be later." The doctor said, turning to Sean, "Mr. Huck, what about you?"

Sean shrugged helplessly. "Lily and I are in similar situations; I haven't noticed any changes."

The doctor nodded, then took out the magic wand again.

Just like last time, we performed the tests on two people in turn.

However, when she was testing Sean, her brows furrowed slightly, and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.

She watched closely as the light on the wand changed, and the light seemed to flicker more erratically than usual.

"Mr. Hack, your magic has increased."

"Huh?" Sean looked surprised and confused. "I didn't feel anything. Is there something wrong with your wand?"

The doctor shook his head, tapped the specially made wand on the table, making a crisp sound, "The wand is fine, Mr. Huck."

"First, magical power growth is not always accompanied by a noticeable feeling, especially when the growth is gradual and steady."

Sometimes, our bodies and minds gradually adapt to these changes without us even realizing it.

"Secondly, the increase in magic power is too small, negligible," the doctor added. "So small that you wouldn't even notice it yourself, but there is definitely an increase."

"So... given time, I can recover to my original level?" Sean suddenly looked up at the doctor.

"If we consider this growth rate, yes." The doctor nodded.

"How long will that take?"

"That's unclear; it depends on your original magic power level." The doctor shrugged and slowly began to speak. "But unfortunately, I know nothing about your original magic power level."

Sean was a little disappointed, but Wen quickly cheered up.

Having hope is better than having no hope at all.

Moreover... no wonder it's been faster to start a fire with the Fire Charm these past few days than before; he thought it was because he'd become more skilled with practice.

"Mr. Hack, could you please try to recall carefully what you did this week, or what physical reactions you experienced? This will greatly help me find the cause of your illness."

What did you do this week?

Sean thought about it for a moment.

Only Luna's image appeared before his eyes.

He...didn't do anything.

Aside from taking care of the children, he couldn't recall any other significant changes in himself.

Could it be that educating a witch can restore magic?

That's a bit of a pipe dream.

Sean shook his head sharply, banishing the absurd thought from his mind, then looked at the doctor and replied, "I'm sorry, I don't remember anything special happening."

Lily, standing to the side, clearly looked dejected.

Clearly, she was not satisfied with Sean's answer.

"Mr. Harker, you need to come back around this time next week. I need to continue monitoring your condition to ensure your recovery is progressing smoothly," the doctor instructed before leaving.

Sean nodded and replied, "Okay, doctor, I'll be there on time next week."

Hearing Sean's response, the doctor turned to Lily, who was standing to the side watching the two talk, and comforted her, "Miss Lily, you don't need to worry. You and Mr. Hack are experiencing the same physical condition."

"Since he has the potential to recover, I assume you do too. Come with me at the same time next time, so I can give you both another check-up and make a comparison."

Lily didn't speak, she just hummed in agreement.

She didn't say another word until the two left St. Goman's Hospital.

On the way back, Sean kept feeling that someone was following him.

Even... without feeling.

He turned around and could see Lily's striking white hair a few steps behind him, bouncing gently with her steps.

"Hey, Miss Lily," Sean said, somewhat exasperated. He stopped, turned around, and looked at Lily. "Why are you following me?"

Lily paused for a moment, then blinked her bright eyes and innocently snorted, "Hmm?"

"Playing dumb won't work, Miss Lily," Sean said sincerely.

"Mm." Lily nodded seriously when she heard his words.

"Saying 'um' all the time won't do any good," Sean added.

"Mmm-hmm-hmm."

Seeing this, Sean was amused by Lily's shameless behavior.

If you want to follow, then follow; it doesn't matter.

He turned and walked toward the exit of Diagon Alley.

Just as he was about to leave Diagon Alley, Lily suddenly called out to him from behind.

"Let's talk." Lily's voice sounded completely different from before, her tone exceptionally cold.

Sean was slightly taken aback. He turned around and looked at Lily, whose eyes, which had just been sparkling with laughter, had now become unusually cold.

A sense of doubt arose in his heart, but he still politely replied, "I would be more than happy to."

However, Lily's next question completely stunned him.

"What era do you come from? The 13th century? The 14th century? The 15th century? Or... from the future?"

Lily's tone carried a hint of certainty, as if she already had a slight guess about Sean's identity.

"??!!"

Upon hearing this, Sean's face was filled with surprise and confusion.

He stared blankly at Lily, feeling as if she had completely changed into a different person.

It was already evening when a exhausted Sean returned to the RV.

The Lovegood family had already drifted off to sleep, and the RV was quiet except for the occasional chirping of insects outside the window.

As soon as he opened the bedroom door, he saw a thin figure sitting on the edge of his bed.

This sudden scene startled Sean for a moment, but after five days of getting to know each other, he quickly recognized the figure as Luna.

Moonlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, casting a silvery-white veil over Luna, making her look like an angel fallen to earth, beautiful and mysterious.

Luna changed into a plain-colored silk nightgown tonight, with a hint of pink lace visible at the loose neckline, adding a touch of femininity to her look.

The hem of her semi-transparent nightgown rose and fell slightly with her breathing, revealing a small section of her fair and delicate calves, which looked exceptionally alluring.

The thought of Xenophiulius sleeping next door...

Sean was starting to panic...
