Chapter 246 Luna's Night Raid
Luna stole glances at Sean, trying to find even the slightest trace of displeasure or embarrassment on his face.
But Sean maintained his deliberate calm, as if the unexpected kiss was just a fleeting breeze that would disappear without a trace.
The haunted house has winding and secluded paths, and every now and then a sudden sound effect or a highly realistic zombie model will appear in front of you, giving you a fright.
Luna gripped Sean's hand tightly, pressing her entire body against him, her body trembling involuntarily with fear.
Sean was conflicted.
On the one hand, he enjoyed Luna's dependence on him; on the other hand, he felt that the current situation was somewhat complicated.
Just as Sean was struggling with his decision, a fork in the road suddenly appeared ahead.
Sean couldn't tell which direction was the right way out, so he randomly chose a road and walked forward.
However, the road narrowed as it was walked, eventually turning into a long, narrow corridor.
Sean realized something was wrong and tried to turn around and leave, only to find that the exit behind him was blocked by a heavy iron gate.
"Oh no..." Sean frowned. "We think we're lost..."
"What?" Luna looked around nervously and said anxiously, "What should we do?"
Sean looked around and found that the corridor was lined with thick walls, and not a single ray of light could get in.
It seems they are trapped here.
"Don't worry, I'll find a way out..." Sean reassured Luna, though he himself was quite bewildered.
The haunted house was designed so realistically that he had no idea how to escape.
Luna clung tightly to Sean's clothes. "But...but...what if we can't get out? We'll be trapped in here."
G
"Don't overthink it, I'll protect you." Sean patted Luna's head and gently comforted her.
Just then, a strange sound came from above, as if something was approaching.
Sean looked up warily and saw a huge hole in the ceiling, from which several blinding beams of light shone.
"Oh my god! What is that?" Luna exclaimed, shrinking back in surprise.
"Don't be afraid, that should be the exit sign..." Sean said, leading Luna toward the cave entrance.
However, when they got closer, they discovered that the opening was more than two meters above the ground, making it difficult for an ordinary person to climb up directly.
"What should we do?" Luna looked at Sean anxiously.
"Let me think of something..." Sean pondered for a moment, then bent down and gestured for Luna to climb onto his back.
"What are you going to do?" Luna was stunned for a moment, not understanding his intention.
"Come on up, I have a way to get you out of here!" Sean urged.
Sean let Luna climb onto his back, then reached out and supported her buttocks.
Upon touching something so soft, he couldn't help but feel a surge of desire.
"Hold on tight... I'm going to stand up..." Sean whispered.
Finally, after some effort, Luna successfully reached the other side of the cave entrance.
Sean was finally able to catch his breath, and at the same time, he felt fortunate for his self-control—if he had really lost control just now, the consequences would have been unimaginable...
He then climbed up in a few quick movements.
Not long after the two left the haunted house that had embarrassed them, Luna returned to her previous energetic self.
"Shall we go ride the Ferris wheel now? I've always wanted to try it..." Luna said, pulling Sean along towards the Ferris wheel entrance.
"Slow down, don't rush..." Sean reluctantly followed her pace.
When they arrived, there was a spare seat on the Ferris wheel.
After the two climbed into the gondola and fastened their seatbelts, the Ferris wheel began to slowly rise.
Looking out the window, the entire amusement park unfolds before your eyes, making you marvel at the beauty of the world.
The two sat quietly, enjoying the scenery outside the window.
Suddenly, the Ferris wheel lurched violently, startling Luna so much that she screamed and threw herself into Sean's arms.
"It's alright...it's just that the wind is too strong...don't worry..." Sean quickly reassured her.
But then, Luna clung to him and refused to get up.
"Okay... then let me stay a little longer... anyway, they can't see from outside..." Luna said sweetly.
Sean had no choice but to let her have her way, putting one arm around her back and gently stroking her long hair with the other.
"Hack..." Luna looked up, her eyes filled with dependence and trust...
By the time the two finally stepped into the house, it was already evening.
After a long day of running around and all that running around, Sean felt utterly exhausted, both physically and mentally.
Sean ran into the bedroom, feeling as if all his strength had been drained. He didn't even bother to change his clothes and simply lay down on the familiar, slightly hard bed.
The mattress gently sank in, enveloping his tired body and bringing a rare sense of comfort.
He closed his eyes, letting his thoughts race through his mind like wild horses, repeatedly processing everything he had experienced that day.
Every detail, every twist and turn, was like a dramatic movie playing slowly in his mind.
Just as Sean was drifting off to sleep, he suddenly felt a heavy weight on his mattress.
He opened his eyes and saw Luna wearing pajamas.
And in her hand, she was holding a half-empty bottle of whiskey?!
Damn!
There's only one bottle of whiskey in the fridge, isn't there?
Luna drank it yesterday.
Where did she get this bottle of wine from?
Seemingly sensing Sean's confusion, Luna raised one hand and gently shook the bottle, then pointed behind Sean with the other: "I just found this in my mother's storage room where she keeps potion ingredients. I think it was something she left behind."
As she spoke, she tilted her head, extended her free right hand towards Sean, and said with a grin, "Want a sip? It's really delicious~"
Sean was about to refuse when he saw the expectant light in Luna's eyes gradually dim, so he swallowed his words back.
"Okay... but you have to promise me you won't drink anymore." Sean sighed, taking the bottle from Luna's hand.
He poured some of the wine into his own mouth and then handed it back to Luna.
"Okay! Thank you, Uncle Huck!" Luna happily took the bottle, gulped down the rest of the wine, burped, and then smiled contentedly.
Seeing Luna's innocent smile, Sean couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
Thankfully, she was stopped in time, otherwise, who knows what crazy things she might have done.
"Alright, it's getting late, you should go to sleep." Sean patted Luna's head, gesturing for her to leave his room.
"But I don't want to sleep yet..." Luna pouted, looking aggrieved.
"Go to sleep, sweetie. You have to get up early tomorrow," Sean said gently, patting Luna's head.
"How about I ask Uncle Huck to tell me a story, just like my mom and dad did for me when I was little?" Luna looked at Sean with longing in her eyes.
Sean's heart softened immediately.
He's the kind of person who can't stand hearing these kinds of things.
"Okay... but I'll just tell you one." Sean sat on the edge of the bed, pulled the blanket over his and Luna's lower bodies, and began to tell his story.
Once upon a time, there was a girl...
"Then one day, the girl grew up."
Sean was lost in his thoughts when he suddenly noticed Luna's hands slowly pulling open his shirt.
"Hey... what are you doing?!" Sean hurriedly grabbed Luna's hand, only to find that she didn't seem to realize what she was doing, and was just pulling her clothes down.
"It's nothing, I just feel hot..." Luna mumbled, continuing to struggle to break free from Sean's grasp.
"I know, but I can't let you do this... You lie down first, I'll go get you another blanket," Sean said helplessly.
However, Luna was relentless. She pushed Sean away and quickly took off her pajamas, leaving her only in her underwear.
"Wow...!"
Sean was startled. He quickly covered his eyes with his hands and turned his back, unable to bear the sight before him.
Luna, however, was completely unaware of the inappropriateness of her behavior. She curled up in bed, emitting soft, fragmented laughter, as mischievous and adorable as a kitten that had stolen some candy.
"Can't you just give me a break...?" Sean sighed helplessly and turned away.
Just then, Luna suddenly crawled out of bed, hugged Sean's neck, and placed a light kiss on his lips.
"Keep telling the story, Uncle Huck," she said, then burrowed back into bed and closed her eyes.
Sean paused for a moment, then continued telling the story.
The story about the little girl was told slowly and carefully, leaving no detail overlooked, for fear of missing any crucial plot point.
He glanced at Luna every now and then and found that she had fallen asleep in his arms.
Honestly... This girl is always so worrying. Sean sighed softly, reached out and pulled the blanket up to cover Luna's entire body.
Then, he carefully withdrew his arm, stood up gently, afraid of waking Luna in his arms.
As Sean reached the door, he stopped and turned to look at Luna on the bed.
Moonlight streamed through the curtains, outlining her sleeping face. A faint smile played on her lips, as if she were having a sweet dream.
Sean smiled silently as well.
Perhaps tonight, he will have a sweet dream, in which there will be a girl who never grows up, who will pester him to listen to the same story over and over again.
