Chapter 336 Tonks' Parenting Manual

Chapter 336 Tonks' Parenting Manual

At the top of the astronomical tower, all was silent.

On a cold winter night, starlight twinkled overhead, the surroundings were covered in white snow, and a chilly air permeated the atmosphere.

Sean stood atop the tower, gazing at the distant night sky, gently turning a small gift box in his hand.

Soft footsteps approached from afar. Sean didn't turn around, but a faint smile appeared on his lips.

He knew Tonks had arrived.

Tonks slowly approached, his heart pounding even faster.

She had never been so nervous.

Finally, she stopped a few steps away from Sean and said softly, "Senior, you left without saying goodbye."

Sean turned around, gently shook the gift box in his hand, and said, "I knew you would come."

Tonks's cheeks flushed instantly. She raised her hand to cover her face and smoothed her hair, stammering, "Then—"

What is this?

"A Christmas present," Sean replied softly, taking a step closer and handing the present to her.

Tonks took the gift box, feeling his fingertips tremble slightly.

She was hesitant to open it, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it was going to burst out of her chest, but she mustered her courage and carefully unwrapped the package.

"Could it be the thing she saw in her senior's office yesterday?"

Tonks' mind replayed the scenes from last night.

At that moment, she happened to pass by Sean's office. The door was ajar, and some faint sounds could be heard coming from inside.

She hadn't intended to eavesdrop, but for some reason, she stopped in her tracks.

Through the crack in the door, Tonks saw Sean.

He was standing in front of the bookshelf, flipping through a book. The table was decorated with a dazzling array of exquisite items.

Tonks narrowed his eyes, trying to see what he was busy with.

Just as she peeked out slightly, wanting to get a closer look, she suddenly noticed the title of the book in Sean's hand.

The book's cover prominently displayed the words: "A Guide to Child Rearing for New Parents."

Tonks almost burst out laughing.

Is the senior student reading a parenting manual?

This is truly unexpected.

She always felt that Sean was mature and steady, and often showed admirable composure and calmness.

But at this moment, he was actually studying a parenting manual seriously, which gave Tonks an unprecedented sense of cuteness from the unexpected.

"Is he preparing for the future?" Tonks couldn't help but tease herself, but the next second, a bold thought flashed through her mind, and her cheeks instantly turned bright red, "Could it be that senior wants a child?"

The thought made her heart race uncontrollably, and all sorts of incredible images began to flash through her mind.

Does that mean—

Tonks could hardly bear to think any further. She shook her head violently, trying to banish those chaotic thoughts.

But in any case, she could not ignore the impact of this "discovery".

"Perhaps he was just browsing casually—"

Tonks tried to find a reasonable explanation for herself, but she knew she didn't believe the simple answer.

Just then, Sean, who was reading a book, seemed to sense Tonks' gaze. He suddenly looked up, and his eyes met Tonks' gaze in mid-air.

"Junior?" Sean's gentle voice broke her thoughts.

Startled by the soft call, Tonks blushed, but she immediately tried to hide her panic and casually approached him.

"Hey senior, what are you looking at?" Tonks asked casually, trying not to seem too concerned.

Sean didn't answer immediately, but smiled and looked at her with a slightly envious gaze: "Oh, just some—future preparations." His tone was calm, but Tonks' heart couldn't help but start racing again.

"Preparations for the future?" she repeated unconsciously.

Sean nodded slightly, flipped through the parenting manual in his hand, and showed a passage to Tonks.

"Look, it says here that breastfed babies don't need to be given water for the first six months—" Sean pointed earnestly to that section in the manual, as focused as if he were explaining an important magical principle to the young wizards in class.

Upon hearing this, Tonks' eyes widened instantly, and a blush spread from her face to her ears. She barely knew how to respond; her mind was a complete mess, and Sean's words echoed in her ears repeatedly.

"Senior, are you—are you serious?" she asked softly, trying to make sure she hadn't misheard.

"Yes, of course," Sean replied matter-of-factly, completely unaware of Tonks' embarrassment. "This is very important knowledge; it never hurts to learn it sooner."

Tonks' heart pounded faster and faster. She stared at Sean's focused face, unsure of what to do next.

Sean seemed completely oblivious to her inner turmoil, continuing to peruse the manual with his head down.

In fact, the day after he arrived in Sofia, he went and bought a whole bunch of books about childcare.

Now that you know you'll have several beautiful daughters in the future, it's never a bad thing to plan ahead for such an important life event.

"Who are you planning to prepare these for?" Tonks asked with difficulty, voicing the question that had been troubling him for so long, his voice barely audible.

Sean looked up from his book at her, a slight smile playing on his lips: "We might need it soon in the future."

These words sent a jolt through Tonks, her face flushing red again, her fingers involuntarily tightening around the gift box. A flurry of thoughts raced through her mind, yet she couldn't quite grasp what Sean was implying.

"Um—that, senior, you—" She was about to speak, but was interrupted by her own nervousness.

"How did you end up here?" Sean suddenly changed the subject, interrupting Tonks.

"Um—" Tonks stammered, quickly making up an excuse, "I—I was just passing by and wanted to ask you about the plans after the Christmas party tomorrow—I didn't expect to see you looking at these."

Sean smiled slightly as he looked at her. "The Christmas party arrangements? Don't worry, everything's all set. I thought you came here specifically to see me."

"Specially—" Tonks' face turned even redder, and he quickly shook his head, "I just—, incidentally."

Sean smiled slightly, didn't ask any further questions, and then put the book back on the shelf.

"Wait for me at the top of the Astronomy Tower after the banquet tomorrow night."

Looking at the gift box in his hand, Tonks' thoughts returned to reality.

What could be inside?

Inside was the same parenting manual from yesterday, along with a set of baby clothes and... diapers.

The next second, Sean's hand had already slipped under Tonks's robe.

"Junior...I want to have a child..."

?

After rubbing Tonks' waist a few times, Sean suddenly ripped open her bra.

"Ah!" Tonks cried out in surprise, collapsing into Sean's arms.

"Look, you're even wearing the wrong underwear. This won't do if you're really pregnant," Sean teased in her ear, his fingers deftly removing Tonks's robe. "I happen to have a few maternity clothes here that would fit you...would you like to try them on?"

In the deserted Hogwarts, at the window of the highest Astronomy Tower, a pair of slender arms clung tightly to the windowsill, and outside the window alongside those arms were two constantly swaying bodies.

A splash of bright red fell silently, much like a plum blossom sculpted by the cold wind.

Meanwhile, Hermione was still on her way to the Astronomy Tower.

However, the short journey from the auditorium to the astronomical tower took her several times longer than usual.
