Chapter 251 Leaving Luna
Chapter 251 Leaving Luna
Chapter 251 Leaving Luna
Three days passed in a flash.
In the meantime, the two of them tacitly chose to forget the romantic encounter that afternoon.
Luna still hasn't experienced "what love is," and her novel about the black cat remains unfinished.
But in any case, Sean is leaving.
So, on the third night, Sean, all tidied up, quietly left the room.
He first took a neatly folded farewell letter out of his pocket and placed it on the table, then slipped another pink letter under the door of Luna's bedroom.
In the letter, Sean used no fancy words, only sincere feelings and simple blessings.
He wrote: "Luna, by the time you read this letter, I will have already embarked on a new journey. I'm sorry I couldn't accompany you to find the answer to 'love,' but I believe that one day you will encounter it in your life, just as I encountered you. Please continue your writing, and let that black cat find its home in your pen. May your story be filled with love and miracles until the day we meet again."
After doing all this, Sean took a deep look at Luna's bedroom door, then turned and disappeared into the vast night.
The letter was quietly placed in the crack of the door, lying on the floor.
Shortly after Sean left, Luna's bedroom door opened gently.
She bent down and carefully picked up the letter; the pink envelope looked especially gentle in the moonlight.
When she looked up again, her face was already covered in tears.
A bright purple three-decker bus appeared out of nowhere in front of Sean, with the words "Knight Bus" written in gold letters on the windshield.
Immediately afterwards, a ticket seller in a purple uniform jumped off the bus and gave Sean a very gentlemanly bow.
"Welcome aboard the Knight Bus—an emergency transport for wizards in distress. Simply extend your wand-wielding hand and board, and we'll take you wherever you wish. My name is Javier Baxter,"
Tonight I am your ticket seller.
"Hello, how much does it cost to go to London?" Sean asked.
"Fourteen silver shicos," Javier replied quickly. "Sixteen silver shicos will get you a chocolate, and one galleon will get you a hot water bottle and a toothbrush, any color you like."
Sean took out his money pouch from his pocket, put a Galleon into Javier's hand, and then boarded the Knight Bus amidst Javier's enthusiastic welcome.
There were no seats in the car, but there were six or seven beds with brass frames placed by the window with the curtains drawn.
Candles were lit on the racks next to each bed, illuminating the walls of the wooden wagon.
Since there was no one else around, Sean chose a bed where he could easily lift the curtains and look out the car window.
As he watched the scenery recede outside the window, he felt a mix of emotions.
To be honest, they were painful.
Especially this kind of silent departure, without farewell, without eye contact, only the hissing sound of wheels rubbing against the ground,
As he left this familiar place.
Sean took a deep breath, trying to expel the sorrow of parting with his breath, but the heaviness in his heart, like the scenery outside the window, slowly and irresistibly receded, yet remained deep within.
Perhaps... our next meeting will be in the future. "Sir, what color would you like your hot water bottle?"
Javier's voice suddenly broke Sean's thoughts.
He turned his head and saw the ticket seller holding several hot water bottles of different colors, and forced a smile.
"Pink, please." Without any hesitation, Sean immediately chose the pink hot water bottle hidden behind the other hot water bottles.
Sean arrived in London two days early to prepare for his plans with Vivi.
In London, he had a hidden safe house.
There are many useful alchemy items inside that might help him on his journey soon.
And when he got off from another mode of transportation.
He has already achieved...
Egypt.
It was the height of summer, and the sun was shining brightly in the sky.
The sunlight, like molten gold, shone down without reservation on the golden desert, making the boundless sea of sand even more dazzling.
The heat was intense, as if even the air itself was burning, and every grain of sand seemed to tremble slightly, releasing the heat it had stored.
Sean put on the wide-brimmed sun hat and goggles that had been prepared beforehand, covering himself up completely except for his nose and mouth.
Even so, he could still feel the sunlight penetrating his clothes and scorching his skin.
"It's so hot," Sean muttered, then looked at Vivi next to him.
No, it should be Lily.
She was wearing a white shirt with a low neckline, revealing a large expanse of fair skin and a hint of cleavage.
Her shoulders and upper arms were almost completely exposed to the air, her fair skin covered with glistening beads of sweat that reflected the sunlight and radiated a captivating glow.
The shorts were very short, just covering the top of her thighs, revealing her two long, slender legs, and she wore a pair of white sandals.
Lily wore a small round hat with a low brim that just covered her ears. Her long hair was tied into a ponytail with a red ribbon and hung casually down her back.
Sean's gaze lingered on her for a few seconds longer before he realized his lapse in composure and quickly looked away.
"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" Lily keenly noticed Sean's unusual expression and raised an eyebrow as she asked.
"No, I just think you look beautiful today," Sean replied sincerely.
Vivi smiled and pulled down her hat, revealing her entire face. "Thank you for the compliment, but you should still cover your head in a place like this, or you'll get sunburned."
"If your sister knew what you were wearing today, she'd kill you." Feeling the intense gazes around him, Sean couldn't help but complain.
After spending a few days together, Sean had figured out when Lily and Vivi would appear and what their differences were.
Vivi gives off an iceberg-like vibe, always maintaining a mysterious and aloof aura that makes people hesitant to approach her; Lily, on the other hand, is completely different...
"If I could, I'd rather she killed me," Lily sighed and murmured softly.
Although Lily's voice was very soft, Sean still caught it.
The next second, she had already regained her usual smile.
"What's wrong? I was just kidding." Lily shrugged and laughed lightly. "Let's hurry up, aren't we going to the pyramids? I don't want to waste this rare opportunity."
"I mean... is what we're looking for really here?" Sean suddenly asked.
