Chapter 91 - 127 - Reason for Chrintain Valley’s Mana Density

Chapter 91 - 127 - Reason for Chrintain Valley’s Mana Density

SPLASH

Splashing sound resonated tearing the tranquility of the Night, as two figures leaped from the cliff into the vast ocean.

On the cliff’s edge, several silhouettes peered down, observing a young man falling with a woman in his embrace.

Unable to identify the fleeing individuals in the hushed night, a stern command echoed forth: "Follow them"

In response to the superior’s orders, the Shadows poised themselves to dive, refusing to let the bearer of the Nexus escape so effortlessly.

BOOM

"Kughhh!"

A sudden, thunderous explosion shattered the serene atmosphere, followed by a groan that reached the Shadow’s ears, prompting them to be on high alert.

They swiftly turned in direction of the sound, only to witness a scene infront of them.

Their once opaque black eyes, adept at absorbing moonlight, began to dim in the radiance before them.

A figure emerged, cloaked in an otherworldly shimmer that outshone the moon itself.

Silver strands of hair gleamed under the moon’s gentle touch, swaying in the gusts of wind.

Crimson eyes emitted an intense glow, piercing through the night.

CRACKLE

Crackling energy enveloped his form, the air humming with raw power.

In his grasp, he held someone with a force capable of moving mountains, his hand seemingly tearing through the fabric of space itself.

He stood as the epitome of human capability—the Archmage Adriannel Riantain.

Even after the space around the place his hand’s tore, forming a dimensional crack, began to crumble and generate an intense counterattack of energy, his grip on the white humanoid remained unyielding.

"Sir!?"

The Shadows shivered, fear taking hold, the pressure exuding from Adriannel wrapping the entire kilometer around them in an unrelenting grip, every particle trembling under his might.

"L-leave hi—"

Although it was an attempt to speak, the Shadows, being a form of Undead, dared to voice their plea while their bodies slowly corroded from an unknown energy emanating from Adriannel.

Similar to peeling skin, the outer layer of these shadows began to flake away with Breeze, transforming into black dust particles

WHOOSH

"AaaaGgggHhhh!"

The heart-wrenching screams pierced the air, resonating through the shadows.

Though seemingly immune to physical pain, these beings experienced an ethereal agony, a pain that transcended the physical realm.

THUD

One by one, their physical bodies began to collapse onto the ground.

Amidst this entire scene, a man stood at the center, lifting a humanoid figure by its head, tightly gripping its face

"AAaaaaGGggggHHHH!!!"

Their screams echoed through the dense atmosphere as the shadows, impervious just moments ago, started to dissipate into nothingness.

CRACK

Their ethereal souls, the very source of their existence, cracked and shattered, erasing these seemingly indestructible beings from reality.

Ignoring the dying cries of the souls, Adriannel’s crimson eyes filled with an unmistakable intent as he maintained his grip on the humanoid figure in his hands.

Elevated in mid-air, he stared coldly at the struggling figure, his hold unyielding despite the attempts to break free.

Clutching the figure’s face, he disrupted the energy frequency controlling it, Causing it to damage the connection between humanoid and those beings.

By Doing So, Adriannel aimed to prevent the collection of mana signatures, not out of fear of being detected but for another reason entirely.

The reason behind Adriannel’s reluctance to eradicate these beings, despite their formidable strength when united and being a threat to this world.

Was Only One — Evangeline

He knew that going against these Seven Beings would drain his mana, making him enable to stop Evangeline.

In this realm with its lower mana density, dealing with these creatures would be a challenge.

The Human Realm held a subtle amount of mana, enough perhaps to produce another Archmage, but for Riantain, it wasn’t sufficient.

Witnessing a world inside the hidden realm where mana purity was significantly higher had given him a new understanding of this world.

It explained the higher mana density in Chrintain Valley—it was an artifact designed to densify the mana zone in preparation for an impending battle.

Adriannel realized the potential threat these beings posed if they entered this world.

To ensure preparedness, he established a battlefield for himself—an unlimited arsenal in the form of Chrintain Valley.

Chrintain Valley would be the battleground where the fate of this world would be decided.

An individual bore the weight of the entire world upon his shoulders, a solitary figure acting as both protector and vanguard.

Was he insane? he didn’t know.

But one thing remained certain: as long as Adriannel Riantain lived, this world would remain shielded from harm.

STOMP

Clutching his claws, he destroyed the humanoid figure’s face, erasing any clues linking him to the destruction.

Though, Order definitely knew who could oppose them, but now they lacked evidence.

And, Evidence was not to prosecute him.

As for the beings of his level, there were no courts or kings to ostracize them.

But the problem laid in the content itself — Strong beings like him.

What if the majority of strong people sided together and declared Adriannel a tyrant who kills without justification?

This was Adriannel’s fear.

He didn’t want to kill all those strong beings too and make the human realm fall from its peak.

From his perspective, victory was certain.

His opponents feared death, but he didn’t; death was just a part of his life cycle.

THUD

The broken and crumbled body of the humanoid figure fell to the ground, without a head.

Looking down at the figure, he brought forth his hands, and a small orb started to form—an orb resembling a black hole surrounded by a planetary ring.

SWIRL

Slowly, it fell from his hands before sucking the whole humanoid figure inside it.

Seeing it disappear, he relaxed his body, causing the energy pressure radiating and covering a whole kilometer to vanish before sucked into him.

He turned his attention towards the mansion, his gaze penetrating through the thick walls of mansion, locking at a place, where three individuals—a creature and two women, sat while discussing something.

Adriannel had already shielded them from any harm caused by his aura, interrupting any leakage of mana to reach them.

Looking towards them, he vanished.

WHOOSH
