Chapter 72 Calling the Parents

Chapter 72 Calling the Parents

When Ron realized his wand had been flung away, his face first showed shock, then sadness.

Sean understood that look...it was heartache, wasn't it?

Given Little Radish Ding's penny-pincher nature, she must have thought of the "expensive" price of the magic wand.

However, he understood Ron's expression but failed to predict Ron's next move.

Ron rushed to his side in a few quick steps.

Before Sean could react, Ron had already clung tightly to his leg, crying and shouting, "Harry, Hermione, go away! Don't worry about me, waaaah..."

In that instant, Sean's body visibly stiffened.

If this were a Japanese anime, Sean would probably have two black lines on his forehead.

He watched as Ron's snot mixed with tears stained his newly bought wizard robe.

For the sake of tonight's "performance," he wore his favorite color scheme.

He also...felt sorry for him...

Don't be angry, don't be angry. Life is like a play; we are brought together by fate in this life, and it's not easy for us to be together. Everyone should cherish it...

Sean muttered the well-known "Don't get angry" rhyme from his past life, forcibly suppressing his anger...

But how could I not be angry?

For a fleeting moment, he understood Snape's feelings.

Enraged, Sean raised his wand and slammed it three times on Ron's head. "Get out of the way."

"No way!"

"Get out of the way."

"No way!"

"If you don't move aside, you won't see another grain of sand in Gryffindor's hourglass," Sean threatened in a sinister tone.

Ron started acting like a scoundrel: "I'm not moving! We've already lost all our points anyway!"

For some reason, Sean felt that Ron's tone was too self-assured when he said that... even a little proud?

"I'll tell Mrs. Weasley about all the good things you've done at school this semester, and if necessary, I'll ask her to come to Hogwarts." Left with no other choice, Sean unleashed his ultimate weapon.

Even though they live in different countries and cultures, the fear of having their parents called in during their school years seems to be a common problem for all students.

Ron's body visibly trembled, and his arms slowly showed signs of loosening.

Seeing this, Sean pressed his advantage, saying, "If you don't move aside, Harry and Hermione might..."

Sean's specialty was leaving the other person to fill in the blanks halfway through his sentence.

Sometimes, leaving things unsaid and giving the other person room to imagine can be twice as effective.

Sure enough, upon hearing Sean's words, Ron slowly raised his head, his large eyes still glistening with tears as he looked at Sean: "Really?"

"Mr. Weasley, you have no choice but to trust me now. Do you really think Harry and Hermione can defeat Snape?"

The difference between Ron and Harry is that Ron is not as stubborn as Harry; in other words, he is better at assessing situations.

In some cases, this can be an advantage for him; in others, this trait can limit the upper limit of a certain aspect of his potential.

This trait is likely related to Ron's upbringing. His several brothers, who have very different personalities, whether it is Percy, George, or Fred, all have one thing in common: they are intelligent.

In this situation, Percy would naturally choose to step aside.

As for the twin brothers George and Fred, Sean had no doubt that, in this situation, his two class representatives would jump up from the ground and lead the way with big smiles.

They might even say something like, "Good thing the wand broke; he didn't want that broken wand anymore," to flatter him.

He really liked the personalities of the twin brothers.

"The Weasleys are our king" is not just a saying, it...

Ron didn't have the thick skin of his two older brothers. He awkwardly got up from the ground, wiped the tears and snot off his face with his sleeve, and then stood there looking on longingly, wishing he could bury his head in the ground.

Sean gave him a disdainful look, then waved his wand and said, "Clean and fresh."

His beloved wizard robes were restored to their original luster, and the stains from Ron's tears and snot had vanished without a trace.

However, Sean still plans to throw the clothes away after today.

Some things, once you get them, become unclean.

"Mr. Weasley, please go to Professor McGonagall's office now and call her over." Seeing the disappointment on Ron's face, Sean decided to add fuel to the fire. "After you call Professor McGonagall, please go back to your dormitory and get a good night's sleep. Before the final grades are announced next week, I would like to see a 2000-word essay about my thoughts on tonight's events, with five recitations of the Hogwarts rules."

As if he had thought of something, Sean added, "Don't even think about using a mechanical quill to write for you. Trust me, I can tell."

Ron's face turned deathly pale instantly. Before he could say anything, Sean turned and walked toward the next door.

As soon as Sean pushed open the door, he saw Hermione returning after drinking the potion.

Hermione saw Sean standing in front of her, paused for a moment, and then stood there helplessly.

She lowered her head, her eyes fixed on the tips of her shoes, her fingers unconsciously twisting the hem of her clothes. "Professor Sean... I..."

Hermione's voice grew softer and softer, the last few words almost drowned out.

Sean gently ruffled Hermione's messy long hair with obvious affection, without saying a word.

It's all Harry and Ron's fault for leading Hermione astray.

He should never have let Hermione play with Harry and Ron together.

However, this was just Sean's rant. Given Hermione's personality during her first term, it seems that aside from Harry and Ron, very few people could tolerate her...

"Want to come along?" Sean asked, seemingly out of nowhere producing an invisibility cloak.

Hermione didn't understand why Professor Sean was wearing an invisibility cloak, but the moment she heard she could go, that question was instantly forgotten. "W-Can I?"

Sean took it as the little witch's agreement and draped the invisibility cloak over the two of them.

Because of the height difference between the two, Hermione felt crowded when wearing the Invisibility Cloak with Harry and Ron. She walked next to Sean, holding onto the hem of his cloak, and could see Sean's face as soon as she looked up.

That feeling was very reassuring.

Hermione only remembered to remind Professor Sean when the two were about to approach the two flames.

"Professor, it seems we're stuck... Harry and I drank both potions that were meant to help us get through the flames..."
