Chapter 523 Ginny's Eavesdropping
Chapter 519 Ginny's Eavesdropping
"professor."
Ginny, who was squatting by the door, intently trying to eavesdrop with a retractable earpiece in one hand, was startled when Sean suddenly walked out.
She suddenly looked up, a few strands of fiery red hair slipped down her back, her expression froze instantly, and her cheeks flushed pink.
"Hello, Miss Weasley," Sean greeted her politely.
"Uh..." Ginny quickly hid her retractable ear behind her back, her cheeks flushing red, and she tried to sound calm. "I just... wanted to see if you guys had finished your meeting."
Who asked you?
Sean didn't care, or rather, he had more important things to worry about, so he just nodded slightly and walked towards the bathroom.
Seeing that Sean didn't speak to her, Ginny bit her lip, as if she wanted to say something unwillingly, but in the end she just lowered her head.
Retractable ears...?
As if realizing something, she quickly looked up and glanced in the direction Sean had left.
As soon as the bathroom door was pushed open a crack, a rich fragrance wafted out, like gardenias blooming in midsummer, mixed with a sweet fruity aroma.
The aroma was so strong that it almost seemed to waft towards you.
Before Sean could even adjust to the sudden fragrance, a warm and smooth body pressed against him.
Moist and damp, it slipped into my embrace like a slippery fish.
So you just took a shower?
Magic...it's wonderful.
Before Sean could even be shocked by Bella's quick preparations or marvel at the convenience that magic brought to the wizard's "life,"
A pair of slender yet strong arms had already wrapped around his neck, pinning his body against the tiled wall.
There was no resistance; she simply allowed herself to be trapped in this small space, surrounded by this softness on all sides.
It's so big. It's so stuffy.
"It's...it's too hot."
"Master, this is just the beginning."
Before she could finish speaking, Bella began licking him affectionately, like a kitten.
Taking advantage of this moment, Sean finally had a chance to take a good look at Bella in front of him.
It seems that women are all like this, unwilling to use someone else's face to be with the man they love. But then again, it would be abnormal to be willing.
Most people don't have the inclination to be cuckolded.
Not only that, Bella changed into a completely new outfit, as if she had returned to her teenage years, or rather, the kind of precocious teenage girl that exists in Europe and America.
There's probably not much difference between people in their twenties and thirties.
The black fabric of her Slytherin robes perfectly complemented her milky complexion, while the collar was adorned with a silver-green interwoven house crest, enhancing the sense of immersion between the two characters.
The hem of the long robe barely covered the top of her thighs, revealing a pair of straight and slender legs.
She did it on purpose...
The hungry kitten seemed to have forgotten that it had just eaten that morning.
The moist sensation spread along the skin, sending shivers down its spine wherever it went.
Meanwhile, Bella's other hand wasn't idle either. "How about we do something more exciting? Like..." she paused, "...punish me, this disobedient schoolgirl?"
Just listen to it once.
Try checking if the retractable ear is broken.
Ginny stood not far from the bathroom, clutching the retractable earpiece, her head bowed, trying to convince herself to accept this absurd idea.
Professor Phillips has been in the bathroom for five minutes.
I just wanted to check if anything had happened to him... what if he didn't bring any toilet paper?
The last reason became the final straw that broke the camel's back regarding the "moral code" in the girl's heart.
She gently squatted down, pressed the retractable ear back against the crack in the door, and inserted the other end into her ear, her expression focused.
What was that sound?
Is it broken?
Why can't I hear anything?
Ginny held her breath, pressed her ear to her retractable earpiece, focused her gaze, but a strange anxiety gradually welled up inside her.
She checked again and again to make sure the other end of the rope was pressed tightly against the door crack—it wasn't broken, loose, or detached—but all she heard was silence.
She bit her lip, somewhat unwillingly adjusting her angle, and gently moved a few inches closer, almost pressing her body against the doorframe. Her fingertips tightened slightly, and her heart pounded with nervousness and shyness, like a guilty thief or someone who had peeked into a dream she shouldn't have seen.
Suddenly, a faint, intermittent sound, like a blurry bubble, came from my ears.
Ginny froze.
Could it be...
Her face flushed red instantly, almost to the roots of her ears, and even her neck was tinged with a blush.
He abruptly pulled the retractable ear out of his ear, threw it into his arms as if he had been electrocuted, his eyes wide, his mouth slightly open, and his breathing somewhat disordered.
"I—I didn't hear anything," she whispered to herself, her face flushed crimson.
She glanced around quickly; thankfully, no one was there. She wanted to run away immediately, but her legs seemed glued to the ground, and she couldn't move an inch.
"Professor, do you think it's too much for me to come to you dressed like this?"
Sean felt his blood boiling. Bella deliberately used an innocent tone to say lewd things, and the contrast made him lose control.
"Professor, I know I was wrong... Please punish me, okay?"
This statement became the final straw that broke the camel's back.
"Since you're so eager to be punished..." he said in a low voice, "then I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget."
"Ah!" Bella exclaimed as Sean suddenly slammed her against the bathroom wall. The cold tiles made her flinch, but she quickly adjusted her position, leaning against the wall.
"Professor... how will you punish me?" she asked, feigning timidity, but her face clearly showed anticipation. "I'm Slytherin's most outstanding student..."
"You've got some nerve." Sean crouched down and wiped her cheek. "Looks like she needs more 'discipline'."
1
"Hmm—" Bella nodded wearily, "Please, Professor, give me your guidance—"
After taking a few deep breaths, Ginny reattached the retractable ear to the door.
But...
This time, the retractable ear seemed to be broken, and no sound came through.
Could it be that the professor... discovered it?
The thought of the consequences made Ginny feel uneasy, but more so ashamed, or perhaps shy? Both of these emotions contained the word "shy," yet she couldn't quite distinguish between them.
After hesitating for a moment, she leaned against the wall, mustered her strength, and went back upstairs.
Hermione's concerned gaze met hers; the thoughtful witch had already noticed that something was wrong with Ginny. Or rather, Ginny's flushed face made it hard for anyone not to notice that something was wrong with her.
"What's wrong?"
When Sean returned to the meeting room, the meeting was nearing its end.
However, he returned alone. He made an excuse, saying that there was an urgent mission at the Auror's office and that Jorgins had just left.
However, when he returned to his seat, Snape looked up and glanced at him.
Without hesitation, Sean glared back.
And so, the meeting came to an end as the two stared at each other blankly.
upstairs.
After giving Hermione a perfunctory reply, Ginny stared absentmindedly out the window.
Would a professor really enjoy playing those kinds of tricks?
This feeling... is a bit strange.
And speaking of which, if Professor Tonks didn't come today, then who's in the bathroom?
Suddenly, the image of a hot witch appeared in my mind.
Director Jorkins.
Aside from Director Jorkins, who was inseparable from Professor Phillips, Ginny couldn't think of anyone else. Kind-hearted as she was, she felt a pang of sympathy for Professor Tonks.
However, a new idea soon came to mind.
Did Professor Phillips and Professor Tonks break up?
Compared to the professor's infidelity and the latter reason, the latter reason is more in line with Ginny's long-held view of Sean.
"The meeting is over, time to eat!"
Molly's shout snapped Ginny out of her embarrassment and panic.
"Get ready to go downstairs, and remember to wash your hands," she called from the top of the stairs. "And George, Fred, stop playing with those retractable ears! Professor Phillips may have agreed to let you open a shop, but only if you finish your studies. If you don't graduate, don't expect to have any shops! Look at you two, you're getting weirder and weirder, just like Kreacher."
"Who is Kreacher?" Harry asked curiously.
"The house-elves here," Ron replied casually, "are a bit crazy. His biggest dream in life is to hang his head in the display case downstairs, just like his mother."
Harry shrank back, and Hermione averted her gaze from Ginny, glaring fiercely at Ron.
"Snape never eats here," Ron added quietly. "Thank goodness. Let's go."
"Remember to keep your voice down in the foyer," Hermione whispered to Harry.
They descended the narrow staircase. As they passed the wall displaying the heads of house-elves, the atmosphere suddenly became heavy.
A faint chanting of incantations came from downstairs as Lupin, Molly, and Arthur cast locking and protective spells on the door to ensure the house's safety.
"We'll eat in the kitchen," Molly said in a low voice, greeting them at the bottom of the stairs. "Harry, darling, tiptoe through the hallway, then through this door..."
boom!
"Arthur!" Molly called out angrily, turning around to look behind her.
"Sorry!" Arthur fell awkwardly to the ground, lying on his back. "That wretched umbrella frame again! It's the second time I've tripped over it today."
Before he could finish speaking, a deafening, chilling scream suddenly rang out, almost shaking one's soul out of their body.
The two velvet curtains riddled with wormholes that the group had passed earlier were suddenly flung open. But behind them was not a door; instead, there was a life-size portrait—an old woman wearing a black headscarf, screaming at the top of her lungs as if she were being torn apart alive.
The old woman was drooling, her eyes bulging, saliva dripping from the corners of her mouth, her unnaturally yellow skin taut against her bones, like a corpse still unburied. The other portraits on the wall were also startled, and they all screamed, plunging the entire hall into a terrifying clamor.
Lupin and Molly rushed forward, trying to pull the curtains up, but they couldn't manage it.
The old woman was waving her hands, as if she wanted to leap out of the painting.
"Filthy bastards! Freaks! Shameful offspring! How dare you defile my pure home!" she screamed, her voice so high it almost tore her eardrums apart.
Arthur apologized as he struggled to put the umbrella stand back in place. Molly simply abandoned the veil and turned to cast a stun spell on each of the remaining portraits.
Just then, a door burst open, and Sean curiously peeked out.
"What happened?"
"I've seen you before." The old woman changed her tune. "You filthy little—" (PS: I meant thief)
"Petrify them all!" Before the old lady could finish speaking, one spell after another followed, the curtain was drawn, the screams stopped abruptly, and only the lingering echo remained in the air.
"You don't mind me treating your mother like this, do you?" Sean smiled apologetically at Sirius behind him.
"It's alright," he said. "She's crazy, she deserves it."
The group followed Molly through the foyer, pushed open the heavy wooden door, and entered the kitchen—or rather, a room that was called a kitchen but hardly resembled one at all.
The air was filled with a strange smell of dampness and decay, like old vegetable scraps and moldy wood mixed together.
The ceiling was low and oppressive, and most of the wall tiles around the perimeter were mottled and peeling, with black mold spots in the cracks. In one corner, a string of spider webs was hanging down, with a spider hiding motionless inside.
The only lit chandelier swayed precariously, casting a dim, yellowish light that cast long shadows on the stains on the floor and the rat hole in the corner.
"We're going to eat here?" Sean was surprised.
This novel dining experience was something he had never experienced before, even with his rich experience of living two lifetimes.
Bill was wiping the edge of the cabinet with a rag that was as black and greasy as Snape's hair.
There were several marks on the floor from the dried liquid, indicating that the "cleaning" had hit a serious roadblock.
"Let's eat in the conference room," Molly finally decided.
When it comes to the dinner table, Eastern and Western cultures rarely reach a consensus: the person cooking has the final say. This is an unwritten but generally accepted rule. Unless you are a servant, you have absolutely no right to speak.
In the Western world, servants are often not even considered "part of humanity".
"Was the journey smooth, Harry?" Bill sighed in relief, tossed the rag into the sink, and immediately walked over to Harry, as if he had found an excuse to leave. "How have you been lately?"
Harry, observing his somewhat exaggerated enthusiasm, instinctively felt that the other was just using it as an excuse to avoid cleaning duties. Nevertheless, he obediently replied, "It was alright, the journey was quite smooth."
As they spoke, everyone gradually moved to the adjacent conference room.
The meeting room was much livelier than the kitchen. Some wizards who didn't eat there, such as Dumbledore and Snape, had already left with Floo Powder.
Only a small number of people remained, most of whom were familiar faces.
Except for one man leaning against the wall snoring.
The snoring was deafening, standing out starkly amidst the chatter.
"Wake up, Mundungus." Sirius poked his shoulder with his knuckles in exasperation.
"Who's calling my name—" Mundungus groggily sat up, his beard scraggly and face wrinkled. He rubbed his eyes and mumbled, "I agree to anything Director Phillips says—"
As he spoke, he raised a dirty hand high, as if passionately participating in a vote. His bloodshot eyes were slightly open, and he looked around blankly, completely unaware of the situation.
This is a loyal subject, a potential loyal subject. Sean rarely offered such an assessment.
