Chapter 366 The Victory of Gryffindor
George Wesley retaliated by elbowing Bolt, and both players were awarded one free throw.
Seeing this, Sofia, sitting in the audience, couldn't help but hum a song.
"|t's been a long day without you my friend
(Without you, my old friend, the days are truly long)
AndI'll tellyouallaboutitwhen|seeyouagain.
(When we meet again, I will open my heart and tell you everything.)

Hearing Sophia humming the melody, Hermione couldn't help but look away from the tense Quidditch match and asked curiously, "Sophia, what song is that?"
"This is a song my father taught me. He said it's the perfect match for this situation," Sofia replied with a slight smile.
"Is it an American song?" Hermione nodded, lost in thought.
Her gaze returned to the court, where the game remained intense.
Just then, Wood made a brilliant save, bringing the score to 40-10.
The Golden Snitch has vanished again. Harry soars into the sky to search for the thief, keeping a close eye on the score—Gryffindor leads by fifty points, Katie scores, fifty to ten. Fred and George whirl around her, bats raised, to protect her from Slytherin retaliation.
Boll and Derek seized the opportunity to strike Wood in the stomach with a running ball. Wood tumbled through the air, struggling to grip the broom, his face contorted in pain.
Ms. Huo Qi was furious.
"The Quaffle isn't in the scoring zone! No attacks on the goalie!" she yelled at Bolt and Derek. "Gryffindor penalty!"
Angelina scores again, making it 60-10.
Shortly after, Fred hit Warrington on the back of the head with a running ball, and Arya took the opportunity to put the ball into the Slytherin goal, making it 70-10.
A deafening roar erupted from the Gryffindor stands—they were leading by sixty points! Harry's heart pounded; if he caught the Snitch, the trophy would be Gryffindor's.
He hovered high in the sky, with Malfoy in hot pursuit.
Suddenly, he saw it! The golden snitch was shining brightly twenty feet above him!
Harry accelerated suddenly, the wind whistling past his ears.
He reached out, almost touching the thief, but suddenly felt his broom being pulled back—he turned around and saw it was Malfoy, who had grabbed the end of the fire bolt and was pulling it back forcefully.
"You—" Harry gritted his teeth in anger, wishing he could punch him right then and there, but he couldn't reach him. Malfoy wore a smug smile; he had clearly achieved his goal—the Snitch had vanished again.
"Free throw! Gryffindor free throw! This is unheard of!" Ms. Hodge screamed as she flew up, while Malfoy slowly glided back into his Nimbus 2001.
"You shameless scoundrel!" Lee Jordan roared angrily, leaping out of Professor McGonagall's reach, fists flailing. "Despicable!"
Shameless scoundrel
Professor McGonagall didn't even reprimand him; she angrily clenched her fist, her hat falling off, and glared at Malfoy.
Arya stepped up to take the penalty, but she missed due to anger, and the Quaffle grazed the goal.
The Gryffindor players were somewhat distracted, while Slytherin, emboldened by Malfoy's fouls, became even more reckless.
"Slytherin has the ball, Monta scores!" Lee Jordan said irritably. "Seventy to twenty, Gryffindor is still leading. Harry is keeping a close eye on Malfoy, not giving him a chance to get close to the Snitch. Their knees collide from time to time. Malfoy tries to get away from Harry's interference and angrily shouts, 'Get out of my way, Potter!'"
Just then, Angelina snatched the Quaffle and charged towards the Slytherin goal. Harry looked back and saw that all the Slytherin players had abandoned their defense and were now focused on surrounding Angelina, even the goalkeeper had left the goal.
Harry immediately spurred the Firebolt and charged forward, practically lying on his broom, shooting towards the Slytherins like a bullet. "Ah!"
The Slytherin players panicked and made way for the incoming fire bolt, allowing Angelina to score!
"She scored! She scored! Gryffindor are leading 80-20!"
Harry nearly rushed into the stands, but he stopped in time and turned back to midfield.
In that instant, he witnessed a breathtaking scene—Malfoy was swooping down onto the lawn, a smug smile on his face.
Just a few feet above the ground, a faint golden light flickered—a flying thief!
Harry immediately swooped down at full speed, the firebolt hurtling through the air. Malfoy was already ahead of him, just feet away from the Snitch—
"Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!" Harry cried out urgently in his heart, accelerating towards Malfoy—a ball grazed his shoulder, and he ducked to avoid it—he was now almost touching Malfoy's foot, closing in on him—
At the last moment, Harry lunged forward, releasing his broom and pushing Malfoy's arm away. "Got it!"
He straightened up and raised his hand high, instantly causing the entire audience to erupt in cheers.
Harry soared above the crowd, his ears filled only with the deafening cheers.
He held the little golden snitch firmly in his hand, its wings still flapping weakly.
With tears welling in his eyes, Wood rushed over excitedly, hugged Harry tightly around the neck, and couldn't help but sob on his shoulder.
Then Fred and George excitedly rushed over, followed by cheers from Angelina, Arya, and Katie: "We won! We got the trophy!" Countless arms embraced tightly; the Gryffindor players huddled together on the ground.
He roared excitedly.
Streams of red rushed over the fence and into the field, with many hands patting them on the back in a friendly manner.
Amidst the chaos, Harry felt only the cheers and the force of the crowd lifting him and his teammates high into the air.
He was lifted above the crowd, surrounded by a sea of crimson.
Harry spotted Hagrid immediately, who was covered in bright red roses and waving his hands excitedly: "Harry, you won! You won! I'm going to tell Buckbeak!"
And then there's Percy, who completely forgot his usual composure and jumped up and down like a madman.
Professor McGonagall cried even harder than Wood, wiping her tears incessantly with a huge Gryffindor flag.
Harry was lifted towards the stands by the cheering crowd. Dumbledore stood there, holding the enormous Quidditch trophy in his hands, a smile on his face. Sophia excitedly waved her camera in the crowd, capturing the moment Harry was lifted high into the air.
She stared intently at him in the camera lens, capturing the fleeting joy, excitement... and nostalgia on his face as he raised the trophy.
Just as Sofia was busy adjusting the angle, Colin ran over with his camera and excitedly pressed the shutter.
Since Colin accidentally "indirectly petrified" himself with his camera last semester, he has lost some of his passion for photography.
However... this exciting moment undoubtedly awakened the passion in his heart.
Harry and his friends love Quidditch.
The same applies to photography for him.
"Hi! Sofia! You're taking pictures too?"
This was the first time Colin had spoken to this senior student who had suddenly transferred to the school and always carried a camera.
To be honest, he was a little envious of the other person.
"Of course, it's such an important moment! Harry and the others are absolutely fantastic!" Sophia replied with a smile, continuing to adjust the camera to capture the scene.
Colin nodded, his eyes shining, and said, "I took a lot of pictures too! I started taking pictures as soon as Harry flew up! He's so cool, truly a hero of Gryffindor!"
Sofia couldn't help but laugh. "Indeed, today's match was truly exhilarating. I heard... you're a huge Harry fan, right?"
Colin nodded excitedly, "Yes! He's the bravest person I've ever met! How did you do with your photos? We can exchange pictures."
Let's keep this as a memento.
As he spoke, he handed the camera to Sofia.
Sofia frowned slightly as she looked at the photos Colin had taken, then relaxed her brows as if she had thought of something. She turned to Colin, who looked puzzled, and smiled.
"Colin, you took a great shot! But don't take one like that again next time."
"What?" Colin was taken aback.
"What I mean is, if you can adjust the angle and focus slightly when you take the photo, the result might be even better."
As she spoke, Sofia pointed to one of his photos and explained.
"For example, when taking this picture of Harry holding the trophy, you can squat down and shoot from a lower angle. This will highlight Harry's posture and make him look more imposing."
"Also, when shooting action moments, try to capture the highest point of their movements, so that the picture will have more tension."
Colin nodded in sudden understanding. "I see! So angle and timing are also important, right?"
"That's right! Also, if you want to blur the background more and focus on the main subject, you can slightly lower the camera's aperture."
"This will make the characters clearer, the background will become blurred, and the whole picture will be more visually impactful."
Colin nodded, seemingly puzzled, and then asked Sophia a question that left her speechless for the first time this semester.
"Excuse me... what is aperture?"
While Sofia was still "patiently" explaining camera knowledge to Colin, the victory celebration team had already begun heading towards the Gryffindor common room.
Wood was at the head of the parade.
He finally fulfilled his "long-cherished wish"—to win a Quidditch cup before graduation.
As mentioned before, this trophy is not only an honor for him, but also a splendid resume, and more directly... a job.
Whether it's the Department of Magical Sports, the Quidditch Sports Company, or a professional Quidditch team... this trophy can be of great help to him.
The Weasley brothers naturally rank second and third.
They really stole the show today.
The fourth and fifth places are Angelina and Aria, respectively.
Harry, the biggest contributor today, is not in the team, but above it.
He was practically carried high into the common room.
Cheers, applause, and songs echoed throughout the Gryffindor Tower. Harry smiled, gripped the trophy tightly, and was completely immersed in the joy and triumph of the moment.
The celebration reached its peak in the Gryffindor common room, filled with laughter and cheers.
The walls were covered with red and gold flags, the lion emblem gleamed in the firelight, the windowsills and bookshelves were filled with wands and balloons conjured by magic wands, and even the frame of the portrait of the fat lady was wrapped with bright ribbons.
The Gryffindor students danced, cheered, and sang, their smiling faces warm and brightened by the flames.
Wood stood in the center of the common room, still clutching the Quidditch trophy tightly in his arms, tears welling in his eyes.
He repeatedly thanked everyone, his voice filled with excitement: "I really didn't expect this dream to come true today! Everyone was amazing! I'm so proud of each and every one of you!"
Fred and George stood to the side, mimicking Wood's expressions in comical poses, which made everyone burst into laughter.
George, holding a large cup, announced loudly, "A toast to our dear captain, Hogwarts' most persistent dreamer—Oliver Wood!"
"Wood! Wood!" Someone in the crowd started shouting his name, and others joined in, giving Wood a shy yet satisfied smile.
Arya and Angelina squeezed through the crowd and got close to Harry, playfully patting him on the shoulder.
"Thanks to you today, Harry," Angelina said with a laugh, "you practically drove Malfoy crazy!"
Harry scratched his head sheepishly and chuckled, "I just happened to be in the right place at the right time."
"Don't be modest, don't be modest!" Arya laughed. "But Harry, you're our number one hero today."
Ron and Hermione crowded around, watching Harry with excitement. Hermione's eyes gleamed with pride: "Harry, I've never seen you fly so well! You're a natural Seeker!"
"I totally agree!" Ron patted Harry on the back, a proud smile on his face. "I wish I had even half of your flying skills! I really don't know how you did it."
Just then, Fred and George's voices rang out again, as they excitedly announced, holding up large bottles filled with Butterbeer: "Everyone! To our greatest Seeker, Harry Potter! Cheers!"
The students cheered as they accepted the butterbeers that had been "smuggled" from who-knows-where, and drank them down in big gulps. The warm foam slid down their throats, making them feel relaxed and satisfied.
Harry was surrounded by everyone and was a little at a loss for what to do, but he still had a happy smile on his face.
Not far away, Colin and Sofia were having a lively discussion about photography techniques.
Colin excitedly recalled Harry's dive during the match, gesturing wildly: "Sophia, you're right! If I had filmed from a lower angle, Harry's movement would have been even more impressive!"
"That's right, Colin!" Sofia said with a smile. "Remember what I just taught you. If someone asks you to take their picture again..."
Remember to lower the aperture, keep the subject sharp, and blur the background; this will make the subject stand out more.
Colin listened with great interest and couldn't wait to try out the techniques Sofia had taught him. At that moment, photography regained its supreme status in his heart.
After all, if Gryffindor can win the Quidditch Cup, what can't they achieve?
Meanwhile, Percy joined the crowd. Although he was usually meticulous and reserved, he couldn't help but relax, even raising his glass and shouting, "To Gryffindor! To our victory!"
Not far away, Sean and McGonagall quietly appeared at the doorway.
