Chapter 33 The tea is sweet; youth is wonderful.

After comforting Zhang Qiu, it was already quite late, so Sean told her to go home directly.

The flight training exercise came to an abrupt end.

As dawn breaks and night falls, several days have passed in the blink of an eye, and Thursday has arrived.

During the morning's flying lesson, Harry, with his exceptional flying talent, successfully became the first young wizard in a hundred years to join the school's Quidditch team as a first-year student.

Just as Harry and Ron were having dinner and discussing Quidditch, Harry's most hated people appeared—Malfoy and his two henchmen.

"Are you having your last meal, Potter? When are you taking the train back to the Muggles?"

"Now that you're back on the ground, with your little friends by your side, you're much braver," Harry said coldly.

Of course, Crabbe and Gore were not little kids at all, but since the main seats were full of teachers, they didn't dare to act recklessly. They could only keep a sullen face and crack their knuckles.

While Sean, sitting on the stage, appeared to be finishing the food on his plate, his peripheral vision kept glancing this way.

Isn't that a funny scene?

"I'm ready to duel you one-on-one anytime," Malfoy said. "If you have no objections, tonight. A wizard's duel. Wands only—no touching. What's wrong? I guess you've never heard of a wizard's duel before?"

“Of course he’s heard of me,” Ron said, suddenly turning around. “I’m his assistant. Who’s your assistant?”

Malfoy looked at Crabbe and Goyle, weighing them in his mind.

"Crawb," he said, "is it midnight? We'll meet you in the trophy room, where the doors are never locked."

After Malfoy left, Ron and Harry looked at each other in bewilderment.

"What's this about wizard duels?" Harry asked. "And what do you mean by 'be my assistant'?"

"Oh, if you die, the assistant will take over," Ron said casually, finally starting to eat his now-cold pie again.

He caught the look on Harry's face and quickly added, "But you know, people only die when they have a proper duel with a real wizard."

"At best, you and Malfoy can only exchange sparks. You two know too little magic to actually hurt each other. However, I dare say he thought you would refuse."

"What if I wave my wand and nothing happens?"

"Then throw away your wand and punch him in the nose," Ron suggested.

"That's not as interesting as Professor Sean's Wizard Kill."

"Then why don't we go find Malfoy and tell him to change the wizard duels to wizard-killer duels?"

Just as the two were having a heated discussion, they heard an untimely interruption.

"Excuse me, may I bother you?"

They looked up and saw that it was Hermione Granger.

"Can't we just eat here in peace?" Ron said.

Ron and Harry were getting fed up with Hermione's endless attempts to correct their mistakes these past few days.

Hermione ignored him, but said to Harry instead:

"I couldn't resist eavesdropping on your conversation with Malfoy—"

"I knew you'd do this," Ron muttered.

"—You absolutely cannot wander around the school at night. Think about it, if you get caught, how many points will Gryffindor lose? And you'll definitely get caught. You're being so selfish."

"This really has nothing to do with you," Harry said.

"Goodbye," Ron said.

Hermione stormed off, feeling that the two people were simply unreasonable.

She absolutely cannot stand idly by when someone not only fails to earn college points themselves but also drags others down, causing them to lose all the points they worked so hard to earn.

But... what should we do?

Hermione immediately thought of her most respected Professor Sean.

"You mean a few junior wizards are going to duel in the prize room tonight?"

Sean looked at the little witch standing in front of his desk and asked in confusion.

"Yes." Hermione nodded several times like a chick pecking at rice. "It'll be at midnight tonight."

"Don't worry, they might be joking," Sean reassured Hermione, trying to sound relaxed.

How could he not know about this?

While Harry and his friends were chatting, he practically glued his ear to the wall next to Harry.

Tonight's episode is supposed to be the scene where the four little wizards accidentally stumble into the Chamber of Secrets, but he's not going.

Who knows, Dumbledore might be hiding in some nook or cranny to protect Harry's safety.

"Professor, I'm serious!" Hermione stamped her foot anxiously upon hearing Sean's answer. "They are..."

Hermione swallowed the rest of her sentence halfway through.

She didn't want to directly reveal Harry and the others' names.

That would make her look like someone who betrays their friends.

Out of concern for her classmates' safety and the college entrance exam results, she could only secretly tell Professor Sean, with whom she had a good relationship, about this matter; it was unlikely she would tell anyone else.

Besides, what if Harry overslept and didn't go tonight, or changed his mind? Wouldn't all her worries have been for nothing?

With that thought in mind, Hermione told Sean, "I have something to do," and left.

Anyway, she had already told the professor about this beforehand, so if Professor McGonagall pursued the matter, she would have an explanation.

Sean breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Hermione leave.

If Hermione is truly determined to let him go, he must stop it from happening, as this would change the original plot, something he doesn't want to see.

Secondly, as mentioned above, he received special attention from Dumbledore.

Besides, isn't it better to sleep with soft, sweet Bella by your side at night? Why are you running around in the middle of the night?

He's not a teenager anymore, he's not in the prime of his youth.

Thinking of this, Sean picked up the honey lemon black tea that had been sitting by his side and had long since gone cold, and took a sip.

The cooled tea has lost the fragrance of hot tea, but it has gained a sense of calm and restraint. With one sip, the tea flows in the mouth, with a unique blend of sweetness and sourness. The sweetness of honey and the tartness of lemon are perfectly combined.

Professor Sean couldn't help but sigh from the bottom of his heart.

The tea was sweet; youth is truly wonderful.
