Chapter 200 What do I need to do for you?

Seeing the flame of desire burning in Filch's eyes, Sean couldn't help but smile knowingly.

It was a smile that blended understanding and satisfaction.

As he said before, he is never afraid of a person having too many desires, because desire is the driving force that propels people forward.

It is the fuel that fuels the flame of life.

He feared that if a person became devoid of desires, their soul would be like a stagnant pool, devoid of vitality.

Then, he slowly pulled a bottle of magic potion from his loose pocket, the bottle shimmering with a mysterious luster under the dim light.

Filch's gaze was involuntarily drawn over.

Inside the bottle, the crystal-clear liquid swayed gently, like a deep sea containing endless stars, each drop seemingly carrying incredible power and miracles.

"This...this is..." Filch's voice trembled slightly, his gaze fixed on the bottle of magic potion, afraid of missing any detail.

Sean chuckled softly. "This is a magic potion that can help you, Filch. It's not just a potion, it's a key that can unlock the door to power you've never touched before."

Sean's words carried an irresistible allure, as if every word possessed magic, drawing people in.

"Drink it, and you'll feel an unprecedented surge of power. Those dreams that once seemed so distant—remember, this power isn't free."

Filch abruptly broke free from the spell cast by the magical words. His brow furrowed slightly, and his voice held a hint of wariness and doubt. "What do I need to do for you?"

"Swear allegiance to me," Sean answered crisply, then looked Filch up and down. "Otherwise, besides this body, what other bargaining chip do you have?"

Filch remained silent for a moment, his heart churning like a turbulent sea, a complex web of struggle and hesitation.

Just as he was trying to sort out his thoughts and find a way out, a hand suddenly appeared in front of him, holding a bottle of magic potion steadily. It was the same bottle of magic potion that Sean had shown him earlier, which contained endless possibilities and dangers.

He looked up, his gaze a mixture of confusion and surprise, as he looked at Sean.

He didn't understand why, at such a crucial moment, Sean would choose to so easily place this power in front of him.

"Drink it, then you can make a decision." Sean's voice was deep and magnetic, and his eyes gleamed with an indescribable light.

The taste of power is so wonderful and captivating; it is like sweet honey or a fine wine, and once you try it, you can't help but be drawn in.

In this world, very few people can resist the allure of power; it is like an invisible tide that sweeps across every heart that yearns to become stronger.

Sean believed that Filch was naturally not among those who could resist the temptation of power.

And it turned out exactly as he had predicted.

Filch's heart raced, his throat went dry, and every breath felt incredibly difficult.

He knew that this potion might represent the power he had always dreamed of, or it might be an unknown trap, a lure that would push him into the abyss.

However, the desires and impulses in his heart spread like wildfire, making it impossible for him to resist the temptation.

His hands trembled as he slowly took the bottle of potion, his gaze fixed on the liquid, as if he saw a glimpse of his future reflected in its crystalline form.

It was a powerful and confident figure, possessing the strength and dignity he had always longed for.

He imagined himself wielding this power, changing his destiny, and realizing those dreams that were once out of reach.

This idea ignited his passion, making him willing to give anything to gain this power.

Without hesitation, he picked up the bottle of potion and drank it all in one gulp.

At that moment, Filch felt a burning force surge into his throat, quickly engulfing his entire body. His heart raced as if it would leap out of his chest, and his blood surged through his veins with unprecedented vitality.

After an unknown amount of time, Filch slowly opened his eyes.

He felt different, but he couldn't quite put his finger on the specific changes. If he had to say, he felt more comfortable in his surroundings.

"Do you have a wand?" Sean suddenly asked, his voice breaking Filch's reverie and abruptly bringing him back to reality.

Filch paused for a moment, then quickly replied, "Yes, yes."

Filch always carried his wand with him.

Although he cannot use it, this is the only difference between him and the people of the Muggle world.

Filch quickly pulled the wand that had been with him for many years from his pocket and gripped it tightly in his hand.

The wooden surface of the wand gleamed slightly under the light.

Sean also took out his wand, waved it lightly, and chanted the spell: "Yugardim Leviosa!"

As he finished speaking, a piece of parchment floated up from the desk.

"You should give it a try," Sean said gently to Filch, his eyes full of encouragement.

Filch's heart skipped a beat, and he nervously and excitedly raised his wand. His hand trembled slightly, but his eyes were unusually determined.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing mind, and then carefully uttered the incantation he had recited countless times: "Yugadem Leviosa!"

However, unlike Sean's demonstration, Filch's attempt did not produce immediate results.

The parchment remained lying quietly on the table, without making a sound.

Filch's face turned deathly pale. He was filled with a sense of defeat, as if a bucket of cold water had extinguished the flame of hope that had just been ignited within him.

He glanced at Sean somewhat awkwardly, his eyes revealing a hint of helplessness and confusion, as if seeking a reasonable explanation.

Could it be that my guess is wrong?

Magic potions simply cannot turn a Squib into a normal wizard.

Wouldn't that mean...?

Although Sean was also somewhat frustrated, he didn't show it; instead, a warm smile appeared on his face.

He gently patted Filch on the shoulder, comforting him, "Don't rush, magic takes practice and patience. You did very well, you just need a little more time to master it. Let's try again."

When he failed the first time, Filch had already given up hope. He originally wanted to leave immediately, but under Sean's watchful gaze, he had no choice but to raise his wand again.

"Yugardim Leviosa," he called softly. Under their gaze, another parchment on the desk suddenly trembled slightly, then slowly detached from the table and floated in mid-air.

The parchment spun slowly in the air, hovering steadily as if supported by an unseen hand.

Upon seeing this, Filch was struck dumb, frozen in place as if time itself had stopped.

His eyes were wide open, bloodshot and filled with disbelief.

His mouth was slightly open, and his lips trembled slightly, as if he wanted to say something, but for a moment he couldn't find the right words to express the shock and excitement in his heart.

After a long silence, a hoarse, low question escaped his throat: "I...I did it?"

He rubbed his eyes hard, unable to believe his eyes, unable to believe that the parchment floating in the air was made to float by his own magic.

Sean smiled and nodded. "Yes, Filch, you did it."

His heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled down.

The magic potion, just as he had hoped, helped the Squib become a normal wizard. Now, all he needed to do was figure out how to create an assembly line.

As for the potion recipe, he slowly put down his wand in Ravenclaw's study last time. His hand was still trembling a little, but this time it was because of excitement rather than unease. He looked at the floating parchment and felt an unprecedented sense of accomplishment and pride.

So, even someone like him can use magic one day...:

"Thank you, Principal Phillips." Filch's voice trembled slightly. "I never thought... I could actually do this..."

Sean accepted Filch's thanks without a second thought.

"Simply thank you isn't enough," Sean said slowly, his gaze deep as he stared at Filch. "This magic potion, while it can help you use some basic spells and give you a certain level of control over magic, is just the beginning. If you want to gain greater power, you'll need more potions."

At this point, Sean's tone became more serious, and he stared intently into Filch's eyes, as if trying to discern the other's true thoughts.

"So... what's your decision? Are you willing to stop here, or...?"
