Chapter 129 The Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin

Chapter 129 The Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin (Part 1)

In the dimly lit room, a faint ray of moonlight pierced through the gaps in the mottled curtains and fell into the misty air.

The hazy pillars of light drifted like sprites, as if drawn by an invisible force.

The bathroom was filled with a faint fragrance, mixed with the dampness of the steam.

In a corner of the room, the girl stood quietly under the shower.

"What just happened to me?" she murmured to herself, her face showing a complex expression of confusion and shyness.

She tried hard to recall what had just happened, and a strange sense of shame welled up inside her.

The embarrassing thing that had just happened made her cheeks blush slightly.

In the steamy bathroom, she could almost feel the man's burning gaze and heavy breathing.

The girl turned the shower switch all the way up, trying to wake herself up.

The nozzles of the showerhead sprayed water, forming a small curtain of rain on her body.

Warm water droplets slid down her snow-white neck and rounded shoulders, eventually gathering on her full breasts.

She only remembers vaguely agreeing to Phillips's request.

When Phillips' hands gently caressed her slender waist, she had no energy left to think.

At that moment, she suddenly snapped out of her daze. She knew that her behavior was inappropriate, but she felt paralyzed, unable to muster any strength or utter a single word. After a brief internal struggle, she comfortably indulged in the pleasure.

The girl thought for a moment, then ran her slender fingers across her skin, spreading the shower gel she had just squeezed onto her hands evenly, making her entire chest radiate an alluring glow.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the warm water.

The water flowed slowly down her flat stomach.

Two round, perky buttocks swayed gently as the water washed over them, outlining a beautiful curve.

She thought of a question.

What is her relationship with Phillips, her senior?

My senior saw and touched every inch of my body, even...

All of this goes beyond a normal friendship.

However, the other party has never explicitly expressed their relationship.

This uncertainty made her uneasy... Could it be that her senior was just...?

Impossible, absolutely impossible.

My senior is definitely not that kind of person!

Senior... are you really not that kind of person?

Two different viewpoints clashed and intertwined in the girl's mind, eventually leading to a conclusion.

Before that, let's keep our distance from the senior for now.

The girl thought to herself.

Then, the girl picked up the coins and carefully wiped various parts of her body, her fingertips gently tracing the surface.

at the same time.

Sean was standing in the girls' restroom on the second floor, holding a black diary, facing Myrtle.

"You must be Professor Sean?" Although Myrtle usually stayed on the toilet in the bathroom stall, she occasionally went out and naturally recognized the renowned professor Sean.

Sean certainly knew the famous Myrtle; he had seen her a few times at Halloween parties when he was in school.

The reason Myrtle is here is because she returned as a ghost after her death to haunt student Oliver Hornby, seeking revenge for the bullying she suffered at school.

Furthermore, she attended Oliver's brother's wedding without invitation. She made a scene, reminding everyone how Oliver had mistreated her, resulting in a complete mess. Oliver went to the Ministry of Magic to stop Moaning Myrtle, after which she was forced to remain at Hogwarts under the Ministry's orders.

"Hello, Myrtle." Sean gave what he thought was a friendly smile.

When Myrtle saw Sean's smile, she suddenly covered her cheeks, flashed through the door of a side stall, glanced back at Sean before disappearing into the toilet bowl.

Undoubtedly, she hid in embarrassment; this wasn't the first time she had done this due to her low self-esteem.

Seeing that Myrtle had disappeared, Sean breathed a sigh of relief, which meant he could save some effort in helping Myrtle forget that he was about to open the secret chamber.

Sean walked to the pool and rubbed his hand next to the faucet.

Sure enough, I felt a small snake carved on the side.

This is it, he thought.

"Hiss—hiss—(open)," Sean said to the wall.

He had just learned this snake language phrase using the learning scroll in the system store.

As soon as Sean finished speaking, the dragon head emitted a dazzling white light and began to spin rapidly.

Then, the pool began to move. He watched as the pool slowly disappeared from sight, revealing a very thick water pipe, large enough for a person to crawl into.

Just in case, Sean cast a few defensive spells on himself before going down.

This is not only to prevent what might happen next, but also to ensure that he doesn't get covered in the sludge from the pipes.

He really didn't want to change his robe again.

Then, he slowly crawled into the pipe, and then let go, allowing himself to slide down.

It felt like rushing down a dark, sticky, endless slide.

If I had to find something to compare it to, it would be like riding backwards on a trolley in Gringotts.

Just as Sean's stereotypes suggest—whether in the Muggle world or the wizarding world, Britain's transportation is atrocious, even the underground pipes are terrible.

Sean could see that there were many other pipes branching off in all directions, but none of them were as thick as this one. This pipe was winding and twisting, with a very steep slope, all the way down.

Through these experiences, Sean realized that he had slid very, very deep underground into the school, even deeper than the underground classrooms, before suddenly falling back to the surface.

The water pipe became horizontal, and Sean emerged from the pipe opening, falling onto the damp ground with a plop.

This is a dark stone tunnel, large enough for a person to stand inside.

Sean squinted, surveying the dark, sticky walls around him.

This is probably the bottom of the lake.

He concluded.

It's no wonder that so many students and professors have tried to find Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets over the years but have come up empty-handed.

Who would have thought that Slytherin would build the Chamber of Secrets at the bottom of the lake?

What a crazy move! What a creative idea!

Such an ingenious architectural design is rare even after more than a thousand years.

"Fluorescent lights!"

As Sean spoke, his distinctive mahogany wand began to glow.

His feet stomped loudly on the damp ground.

The tunnel was pitch black, as if it had swallowed up all the light, and Sean's vision was limited to a small area in front of him.

Sean gripped his wand tightly; the faint light emanating from it in the darkness only illuminated his feet.

The beam of light danced on the damp wall, casting a long, distorted shadow of Sean, like a monster lurking in the shadows, silently observing him.

Where is the basilisk?

Sean didn't see it; he only saw a pile of white bones scattered on the ground. The bones were small and fragile, clearly the remains of a small animal.

It looks like... there's something ahead?

Sean saw the outline of a coiled, enormous creature lying motionless on the other side of the tunnel.

Is it... a basilisk?

Sean squinted his eyes as much as possible, but at the same time, he could still see things.

He moved forward slowly, sideways, taking each step with extreme caution, afraid of disturbing the unknown behemoth.

He gripped his wand tightly and raised it high, letting the light shine in front of him.

Finally, he saw the true form of the object: a huge snakeskin, green and very bright.

The snakeskin emitted an eerie glow, like a messenger from hell, coiled around the floor of the tunnel, which was empty inside.

Sean couldn't help but gasp; clearly, the animal that had just shed its skin was at least twenty feet long.

This was an absolutely terrifying creature; he couldn't imagine what it would be like if it were still here.

He couldn't even imagine how prestigious it would be if he kept this basilisk as a pet.

But... such a huge basilisk must need to eat a lot of food every day, right?

That's not necessarily true. The secret chamber hasn't been opened for so many years. If the basilisk needs a lot of food to maintain its vital signs, wouldn't it have starved to death long ago?

However, such a large snakeskin would surely be a good material, whether used to make alchemical tools or as a potion.

Sean planned to pack it all up and take it with him before he left.

Having made up his mind, Sean continued deeper into the tunnel.

The tunnel was sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, like a maze, turning one bend after another.

Sean walked cautiously, afraid of triggering some unknown mechanism or attracting danger lurking in the shadows.

He couldn't help but start to wonder if he had encountered the legendary "ghost wall" phenomenon.

"A bizarre phenomenon that makes people go around in circles forever."

Just as Sean's patience was about to run out, a real wall finally appeared in front of him. The wall was made of solid stone, but its surface was unusually smooth, as if it had been carefully polished.

The most striking feature is the two intertwined snakes carved on the wall; their forms are graceful and their bodies coiled and intertwined.

The eyes of the two snakes were set with large, sparkling emeralds, which emitted a faint glow in the darkness.

It seems that these two emeralds are also quite valuable and can be used as materials for alchemy.

So, he added another item to his list of items to take with him.

"Hiss—hiss—(open)," Sean said to the wall again.

The two snakes separated, and the stone wall split in the middle, slowly sliding to both sides and disappearing.
