Chapter 114 Planting the Bomb at Point B

In the dimly lit study, Sean slowly closed his diary, a deep, unfathomable smile appearing on his face.

He knew he had successfully planted a seed in Riddle's heart—a seed that could change everything.

Sean slept well last night.

Last night, after finishing Riddle's diary, he went to bed, buried himself in the fluffy pillow, and fell asleep in no time.

In fact, this was the most comfortable sleep he had had this month.

As the old saying goes, there's no place like home.

However, he is not a dog.

He was Sean Phillips, no, now he might be Mr. Borgin.

Looking at himself in the mirror, transformed into Mr. Bokin after drinking the compound potion, Sean bowed slightly, mimicking his posture, and said to his reflection in the mirror in a smooth, oily voice, "Welcome, Mr. Sean Phillips."

Malfoy Manor, located in Wiltshire, stands amidst rolling green hills and surrounded by dense forests, like a solitary castle, quietly telling secrets of a thousand years ago.

Every sunrise, as the golden sunlight shines on the ancient gray stone walls, the manor seems to awaken from its slumber, radiating the glory of history.

Like many other ancestors of British nobles, the Malfoy family's ancestor, the wizard Armand Malfoy, also came to England as a member of the Norman army, following William the Conqueror.

He not only provided King William I with extraordinary assistance as a wizard, but also carried out many shady tasks for the king using his unknown magic.

In return, Armand Malfoy seized a prime piece of land in Wiltshire from the local landowners. This land was not only scenic but also rich in resources.

From then on, the Malfoy family took root in this land, multiplying generation after generation and closely linking the family's glory with the land.

As time went by, Malfoy Estate was continuously expanded and improved, blending classical and modern architectural styles.

The towering towers, exquisite sculptures, winding paths, and meticulously designed gardens all showcase the Malfoy family's prestige and taste.

The interior of the manor is extremely luxurious, with exquisite murals and expensive furniture, all exuding an innate sense of nobility.

So when Sean stepped into Malfoy Manor, his heart was filled with emotion.

The concept of heritage and tradition is simply...ineffable.

Just as Sean was sitting at the long table in the living room, examining the intricate scroll frame on the mantel next to him.

Footsteps came from the spiral staircase on the second floor, and the sound grew closer.

Sean looked up and saw a tall, thin man.

He had light golden hair that shimmered with a captivating luster under the light. His face appeared unusually pale, which only added to his noble air.

Although Sean had never seen Lucius in real life before, he recognized him at a glance.

Having completely immersed himself in the role of Borgin, Sean quickly stood up from his chair, his face plastered with a fawning smile, and went to greet him, "Mr. Malfoy, it's a pleasure to see you again—"

Lucius Malfoy gave Sean a cold look, a hint of contempt and annoyance flashing in his eyes as he looked at his overly enthusiastic smile.

He was clearly uninterested in, and even annoyed by, such insincere flattery.

Before Sean could finish speaking, Lucius rudely interrupted him, waving his hand impatiently as if shooing away an annoying fly.

Then he turned around and gestured to Sean with an unquestionable air to follow him.

Sean paused for a moment, then quickly adjusted his mindset, bowed slightly, and followed behind him.

The two walked through several spacious but dimly lit corridors and arrived at the kitchen. In the corner of the kitchen was a steep staircase. After descending the staircase was a heavy door. Lucius glanced discreetly at Sean behind him and pushed the door open.

Behind the door, a deep cellar came into view, with dim light barely illuminating the surroundings.

Without a doubt, this is a mysterious cellar, a place Lucius used specifically to store items of dark magic.

A cold and mysterious aura filled the air. Sean looked around and examined the dark magic items displayed on the shelves.

He guessed that there must be many cellars like this in the manor where Lucius stored dark magic items—because the shelves only contained the items on his trading list from yesterday, nothing else.

"These are my treasured possessions from many years ago," Lucius's voice echoed in the dark cellar, tinged with pride and ostentation. He walked to a shelf, picked up an item that shimmered with an eerie magical light, and handed it to Sean. "Look at this; it's very valuable."

Sean took the item and felt a cold, powerful force coming through his palm.

“Indeed, a remarkable item,” Sean exclaimed, handing the item back to Lucius. “So, Mr. Malfoy, shall we begin the transaction?”

Sean said, "Look," and put on Mr. Bokin's pince-nez glasses, pulling the list out of his pocket.

Lucius nodded, took the item from Sean, and gently placed it back on the shelf. "Of course, but Mr. Borgin, before we make the deal, I think we should clarify the terms and conditions."

"Oh? Mr. Malfoy, please speak." Upon hearing Lucius's words, Sean put down the list, looked up at Lucius, and showed an expression of attentive listening.

Lucius pondered for a moment, then said, "First, I hope you can keep the details of our deal confidential. You know... if the source of these things is leaked, it could cause us unnecessary trouble."

"Of course, Mr. Malfoy," Sean replied in Mr. Borgin's characteristic glibness.

"And—" Lucius hesitated slightly as he said this, "If possible, don't rush to sell these dark magic items. I might take them back in a while, and then we can discuss the price."

“Of course, exactly as you wish, Mr. Malfoy,” Sean replied, bowing slightly, then asked, “Is there anything else I can do for you?”

Lucius didn't speak, but instead slightly turned his body to the side, making it easier for Sean to look at the goods on the shelf.

Sean searched for the corresponding items on the shelf one by one according to the names of the props on the list.

He carefully picked up each prop, meticulously inspected their quality and condition, and ensured that they all met the descriptions and requirements on the list. Every time he found a prop that met the requirements, he would carefully record it and put it back in its original place.

As the saying goes, you should love whatever you do.

But he still has a crucial step to take before he can fully embody the role of Mr. Borgin.

Sean picked up a delicate little bottle containing a rare magical potion. He had just noticed a small crack on the bottle when he examined it.

So he frowned and handed the small bottle to Lucius. "Mr. Malfoy, please look at this?"

Lucius took the bottle with a puzzled look and examined it closely. "What is this?"

"It's a minor flaw," Sean said, pointing to the crack. "While it doesn't affect the potion's effectiveness, it does impact its price. After all, only perfect products can command higher prices."

Lucius frowned; he was clearly unwilling to lower the price because of this minor flaw. "It's just a minor defect; it doesn't affect its use."

"Indeed, there might be no functional impact," Sean replied calmly, "but..."

Lucius remained silent for a moment, seemingly weighing the pros and cons.

Finally, he nodded. "Okay, we can discuss the price. What do you think is a suitable amount?"

Such situations repeated themselves over time, to the point that Lucius abandoned his arrogance and began to inspect the condition of these alchemical artifacts in advance—he feared that Borgin might use some other means during the inspection.

During this process, Sean took out a recording stone from his pocket, held it in his hand, and quietly pressed it down.

While pretending to look around the cellar at the photo-taking stone, Sean suddenly noticed a strange, cucumber-shaped, gelatinous magical artifact in the corner, and a strange expression appeared on his face.

That...could it be?

After observing Lucius still focused on inspecting his illegal alchemical artifacts, he briefly considered the matter and, from an angle out of sight of the recording stone, casually sprinkled a bottle of potion from his pocket onto the magical artifact.

However, after doing all this, Sean was stunned.

He just had a sudden whim to put some tranquilizer on it and ruin the Lucius couple's relationship.

Oh no, he sprayed some kind of love potion?!
