Chapter 106 Luna Taking a Bath

Chapter 106 Luna Taking a Bath

afternoon.

The scorching sunlight, like a golden torrent, poured down from the sky, mercilessly baking the earth.

The sunlight was so intense it was almost blinding. The sky was a clear, unclouded blue, like a giant blue dome, with the sun as its undisputed ruler.

The air was thick with the scent of summer, a mixture of dry soil and the scorched smell of distant vegetation. Occasionally, a gentle breeze would blow by, but it brought little coolness; instead, it felt like hot air from a hairdryer, making the heat even more oppressive.

Although Sean was in the shade, the feeling of being scorched by the sun still lingered.

He raised his hand and gently touched his cheek, which was slightly red and felt a little hot.

As time went on, tiny beads of sweat began to appear on his forehead. These beads of sweat glistened in the sunlight and then gradually gathered into larger beads, which slowly slid down his cheeks.

No, this can't go on.

he thought.

Research conducted behind closed doors will not yield any useful results.

Then, Sean threw the goblin, which was almost turned into a roasted sweet potato, out of the garden.

The goblin seemed to be reborn after landing, immediately leaping up and disappearing from sight in an instant, quickly fleeing the area.

After doing all this, Sean felt a sense of relief.

He went back inside and took a long, refreshing shower, washing away all the sweat and fatigue.

The water flowed down his body, washing away all his discomfort and making him feel refreshed.

He changed into clean clothes and tidied himself up neatly.

Then, he set off.

As for where he was going, he didn't know.

As he continued to walk, the scenery around him kept changing.

At first, the surroundings were relatively familiar, but gradually they turned into fields and woods in the suburbs.

Sunlight filters through the gaps in the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground.

A gentle breeze blew by, bringing a refreshing coolness.

Just as Sean was about to stop and rest for a moment, he saw a strange building not far away.

If this building were called a car, it would indeed be several times larger than a regular car, almost like a mobile little castle; if it were called a house, the densely packed tires underneath would make it stand out from the crowd.

So it's... a motorhome?

Out of curiosity, Sean decided to go closer to take a closer look at this peculiar building.

He approached quietly, not wanting to disturb the possible owner inside the RV because of his curiosity.

Sean caught a glimpse of it through the crack in the RV door.

.....

Something happened

.....

Just as Sean was intently watching Luna and thinking about how to leave this dangerous place, he suddenly felt a light tap on his shoulder.

He turned his head to look.

He is a person with a very strange appearance.

He... had a slight squint, shoulder-length white hair as soft as cotton candy, wore a white hat with tassels hanging in front of his nose, and a tear-inducing egg-yolk yellow robe. On the gold chain around his neck was a strange symbol, like a triangular eye, glittering.

There is no doubt about it.

He was Xenophilius Lovegood, Luna's father, and there was no one else in the entire wizarding world with such bizarre attire and appearance.

But... looking at someone else's daughter in front of someone else's father...?

Realizing this, Sean suddenly felt that his reputation was in danger.

He was about to explain when Xenophilius recognized him.

"Ah, isn't this Mr. Phillips?" Xenophilius's voice was full of surprise, but not displeasure. "What are you doing here, and..."

His gaze lingered between Sean and Luna in the distance, as if searching for some connection.

Sean's heart tightened; he knew that any hasty explanation at this moment could lead to misunderstandings.

So he took a deep breath, trying to remain calm, and then nodded politely to Xenophilius: "Hello, Mr. Lovegood. I was just passing by..."

Xenophilius raised one eyebrow, clearly having reservations about this explanation.

But he didn't question it directly; he simply said, "Oh? Just passing by?"
