Chapter 101 Professor, how is my child doing at school?

Chapter 101 Professor, how is my child doing at school?

The kitchen was small and quite cramped, with a clean wooden table and a few chairs in the middle.

The clock on the opposite wall has only one hand and no numbers. The clock face has words like "brew tea," "feed the chickens," and "you're going to be late" written on it.

Three layers of books were stacked on the mantel: "A Vacation with a Female Demon", "The Days I Lived and Eat with the Wild Man of Shennongjia", "Conjuring a Feast", etc.

Sean spotted his book immediately. For some reason, even though it had only been published recently, the book looked rather worn.

Under Molly's eager gaze, he took the book from the shelf, then pulled out his pen from his jacket pocket and wrote a note:

This book is dedicated to Molly Weasley.

Sean Phillips left on August 1, 1992.

While Sean was signing autographs, Harry looked around like a country bumpkin visiting a grand garden, glancing here and there.

This was the first time he had ever entered a wizard's house.

He could hardly believe his ears were deceiving him when he heard the old radio by the pool say, "Next up is 'Magic Time,' performed by the famous witch singer Setina Warbeck."

After everyone had come in, Molly warmly invited Sean and Harry to sit down.

She never imagined that her casual remark would actually leave Phillips here; it felt like a dream to her.

Molly casually tossed the sausage into the frying pan. Her movements were slightly mechanical, yet skillful. Everything was proceeding in a daze, yet in an orderly fashion—she seemed still to be reeling from the surprise of Phillips' unexpected visit and acceptance of her invitation.

As the aroma of the food gradually filled the kitchen, Molly's thoughts slowly returned to reality.

She placed the steaming hot breakfast on the table, a satisfied smile on her face.

As a result, the aroma of food that filled the kitchen spread into the living room, intertwining with the raw feel of the wooden table to create a warm and cozy atmosphere called "home".

This sense of warmth was unfamiliar to both Harry and Sean.

The former lost his parents shortly after birth, while the latter didn't even know who his parents were.

Therefore, the two of them appeared unusually reserved in this environment.

"Come, try my sausages and homemade jam," Molly invited warmly, glancing at the old radio. "Ah, Setina Warbeck's voice is always so beautiful, isn't it?"

Sean smiled and nodded, savoring Molly's cooking while admiring the small, homey kitchen.

He noticed Harry's gaze and gently patted him on the shoulder: "Harry, it seems you're finding everything here quite novel."

Harry nodded, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yes, this place is amazing. I never imagined a wizard's house would be like this."

Molly laughed after hearing this: "Oh, Harry, a wizard's house is actually not much different from a Muggle's house, except that it has some magical elements."

Just then, Setina Warbeck's voice came through the radio, gradually rising in pitch, as if filling the entire room with magic.

Sean swayed gently to the music.

But frankly, he wasn't interested in the music of the wizarding world.

The root of their lack of interest... is simply that the music in the wizarding world is too outdated.

He believed that if some rock songs could be magically enhanced and played in the wizarding world... perhaps hippies and... even boneflesh skins would emerge in the wizarding world?

As Harry finished the sausage on his plate, Molly dumped eight or nine more sausages into it, comforting him, "Arthur and I were worried about you too. Last night we were saying that if you didn't reply to Ron, we'd come and get you ourselves. But..."

Molly added three more fried eggs to Harry's plate. "Driving an illegal car across half the country—anyone could see you—"

Seeing the sausage gradually disappear, Sean quickened his eating pace.

It's worth mentioning that Mrs. Weasley's cooking skills are truly superb. The sausages are bright red, with a slightly charred skin that exudes an enticing aroma. Each sausage is plump and elastic, and in the sunlight, the surface of the sausages glistens with oil, making you want to taste their deliciousness.

During a break in the meal, Molly would casually tap the dishes in the sink with her wand, and they would start washing themselves, the clanging sounds like background music.

"This is bad, Mom, Professor!" Fred said.

"Don't talk while you eat!" Mrs. Weasley said sternly, then turned and gave Sean a gentle smile.

"They won't feed him, Mom, Professor!" George said.

"Shut up too!" Molly said, but her expression softened slightly as she began to butter Sean and Harry's bread.

"That's enough, Mrs. Weasley, that's too much," Sean said hastily, watching as Molly spread a thick layer of butter on her bread.

"You've had a long night, Mr. Phillips, please eat something."

Sean took the bread, sandwiched the sausage between two slices, and took a bite. The crispy bread and tender sausage melted in his mouth, so delicious that he couldn't help but let out a satisfied groan.

After finishing all that, Molly sat down opposite Sean.

A home visit is an essential part of the process; we will arrive even if it is late.

"Mr. Phillips, how has Ron been doing at school this semester?" Molly asked worriedly.

Molly had absolutely no worries about Percy.

As for Fred and George, she had long since put her mind at ease.

She was still a little worried about Ron, who had only been in school for a year, especially after what happened last night. She was concerned that Ron might become naughty under the influence of Fred and George.

Good heavens, she couldn't even imagine how she would keep the family running if another person like George or Fred appeared in the house.

Hearing his mother's question, Ron looked up at Sean with a nervous expression.

Sean noticed Ron's nervousness; he saw the anticipation and unease in Ron's clear blue eyes. He smiled at him, then turned to Molly and said gently, "Mrs. Weasley, Ron is doing exceptionally well at school."

"He is especially talented in Wizard Chess, having solved one of the most complex games in nearly a century, and he is able to remain calm in the face of danger. I am proud that you have such an outstanding son."

Upon hearing Sean's praise, a glint of surprise flashed in Ron's eyes, as if he couldn't believe his ears.

He stared intently at Sean, his eyes wide, as if afraid of missing a single word.

This was the first time someone had praised him in front of his mother, and this person was none other than his mother's most admired person—a professor at the school.

Ron felt so happy he was about to faint.

He thought Professor Sean was the best person in the world, and that his decision to pick up Harry last night was the best thing he had done in years. Note that neither of these statements is followed by "one of".

"Am I... am I really that good?" Ron muttered to himself, his voice filled with barely concealed excitement, while Harry, sitting beside him, gave Ron an encouraging look.

Molly also heard Sean's praise, and a look of immense satisfaction and pride appeared on her face.

She turned to look at Ron, her eyes filled with love and affirmation. "Yes, Ron, you are truly wonderful. Mom is so proud of you."

Ron's heart pounded. He felt as if he were standing on the summit of a mountain, seeing a view that was once unattainable—a view that belonged only to Percy.

Is this how Percy feels? Ron wondered to himself.

No wonder Percy always held his head high in front of them; it felt...good...

George, who was standing nearby, was about to say, "That's great, my brother got praised by Mom and the professor," but the look from Professor Sean made him swallow his words.

"Fred and George have also done very well this semester."

Sean paused for a moment, then continued.

"The two of them tied for first place in my Defense Against the Dark Arts class."

"Although the two of them can be a bit mischievous at times, that's just children's nature," Sean continued earnestly. "Their liveliness and creativity in the classroom have not only impressed me, but also..."

Just as the group was chatting, a little red-haired figure wearing long pajamas ran down, screamed, and then ran out again.

"Ginny," Ron whispered to Harry, "my sister. She's been talking about you all summer."

"Of course, she wants your autograph, Harry," Fred laughed, but upon seeing his mother's gaze, he immediately buried his head in his food and stopped talking.

Several people, including Sean, remained silent, and soon all four plates were emptied.

After finishing his meal, Sean stood up, pushed his chair back to its original position, and looked at Mrs. Weasley. "Thank you very much for your hospitality, Mrs. Weasley. This meal was absolutely delicious."

Molly blushed slightly upon receiving praise from her idol. "You're too kind, Mr. Phillips. I'm so glad you like it."

"Mom idolizes the professor," Fred whispered, but it was clearly heard, before he was met with Mrs. Weasley's death stare.

Even though the professor had just praised him, he felt like he was doomed.

After glaring at Fred, Molly turned her attention back to Sean, who was talking to her.

"You haven't slept all night. I happen to have a spare room at home. Why don't you rest here for a while before you leave?" She asked hesitantly, looking at Sean, who looked somewhat tired.

Sean answered decisively, "I couldn't ask for more."
