Chapter 591 Diplomatic Mission
Chapter 591 Diplomatic Mission
That evening, Fan Binbin shared her joy of pregnancy in the family group chat.
Tang Yan was the first to respond, sending five exclamation marks in a row, followed by a voice message.
Fan Binbin clicked on it, and Tang Yan's voice burst out from the speaker.
"Really?! Sister Binbin, you're pregnant too?!"
Guo Zhenni's news followed Tang Yan's.
"Congratulations, Sister Binbin!!! I'm filming in northern Shaanxi and can't come back, but I'll definitely come back to see you after I finish filming!"
It was followed by three hugging emojis.
Yang Mi: "I just went home and had dinner with my mom. How come Sister Binbin is pregnant? This is so sudden."
News of Liu Yifei followed shortly after.
She sent a voice message; the background was very quiet, probably from her own room.
"Congratulations, Sister Binbin."
I'll be back tomorrow. I was planning to stay home a few more days, but I'll go back to see you now.
Fan Binbin replied immediately after seeing the message: "Xixi, you don't need to rush back. It's just a pregnancy."
You should stay home and spend more time with your aunt.
Fu Yibai leaned back on the other side of the sofa, watching the messages in the group chat jump up one after another.
Huang Mengying's profile picture popped up in the group chat.
"I just finished class, congratulations Binbin! I'll come over tonight!"
A string of pink hearts followed.
Gulnazar followed up with a message.
"Me too, me too! I'm going back with Mengying. Congratulations, Sister Binbin!"
At 6:30 p.m., the door lock clicked once.
Huang Mengying and Gulnazar pushed open the door and came in. After changing into slippers, they quickly walked towards the sofa.
"Sister Binbin, how many months pregnant are you?"
The two sat down on either side of Fan Binbin. Huang Mengying hugged Zhao Ning, who was sitting on the sofa, and asked, tilting her head.
"It's been less than half a month."
"That's great, you've finally gotten what you wanted."
September 20, Fu Yibai's office.
When Zhao Qi pushed the door open, Fu Yibai was looking at the listing progress report of Chenxi Music.
"Mr. Fu, there's an urgent task."
Zhao Qi placed the documents in front of Fu Yibai and sat down in the chair opposite him.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee took the lead, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television jointly issued the notice."
Fu Yibai opened the file.
2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Spain, and the two governments will hold a series of cultural exchange activities.
China will send its most representative variety shows to Spain to record a special season, partly for cultural exchange and to promote Chinese culture.
On the other hand, it assists Spain in promoting its cultural tourism.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee are responsible for the overall planning of the task, while the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Administration of Radio and Television jointly coordinate the specific implementation plan.
Fu Yibai looked up after reading the document.
"Has a specific program been designated?"
Zhao Qi shook her head.
"The ministry did not specify."
They only made one requirement: it must be the most popular and best-performing variety show in China at present.
They told us to submit our own proposals, which would then be ultimately approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
Currently, there are only six variety shows in China that can be considered the "most popular": Running Man, Go Fighting!, Divas Hit the Road, Boys & Girls Go Forward, The Voice of China, and If You Are the One.
Each variety show dominates a particular genre.
Of the six variety shows, Chenxi appeared in four of them.
Among them, the most suitable for cultural exchange are "Running Man" and "Divas Hit the Road", both of which happen to be from the dawn.
So this task was assigned to Chenxi.
"Call a meeting and bring in the people in charge of 'Running Man' and 'Divas Hit the Road'."
"Yes."
Fifteen minutes later, the conference room was full of people.
The director of "Running Man" is surnamed Wang, with the given name Zhe. He is in his early forties, wears black-rimmed glasses, and is an elderly man in his late twenties.
He initially worked as Fu Yibai's assistant director. Later, when the "Running Man" project was launched, he took on the task and worked on it for five or six years.
Producer Hu Wei is two years younger than him. He previously worked as the executive producer of "The Voice of China" and was transferred to the Running Man team last year.
Li Min, the director of "Divas Hit the Road," is also an elderly person from Chenxi.
Producer Sun Hao sat next to her, looking through the program schedule on his phone.
Zhao Qi briefly summarized the contents of the official document.
There was a silence in the meeting room for about three seconds, and then the heads of the two programs spoke almost simultaneously.
"Our new season will start filming in five days."
Wang Zhe pushed up his glasses, his tone clearly showing his embarrassment.
"The schedules of all the regular guests have been coordinated, the filming location has been set in Harbin, and the script and venue for the first episode have been arranged."
Suddenly, they wanted to change the filming location to Spain, so all the pre-production work had to be scrapped and started all over again.
Li Min then spoke, her pace even faster than Wang Zhe's.
"We just finished filming the seventh season, so there's no scheduling conflict."
The problem is that we haven't even started planning for the new season, we haven't negotiated sponsors, and we haven't even finalized the guest lineup.
Selecting guests and coordinating their schedules takes a long time and could potentially delay the mission.
